2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when changing the traveling direction of a web in an offset rotary press or the like, a roll bar is passed over the traveling web to change the traveling direction of the web. The roll bar can be used as long as it is a cylindrical rod, but if the surface in contact with the roll bar is an undried web on which printing is performed, the roll bar and the printed surface are rubbed and the printed surface is stained. For this reason, in such a case, a roller having irregularities is used so that the non-contact portion between the web and the roller is reduced. In addition, a roller having the same diameter as the printing plate is used, so that the undried ink contacts the same place of the roller to prevent the printing web from being stained. However, with the increase in printing speed, these methods often generate stains due to rubbing with a roll bar.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a roll bar made of a sintered metal having a large number of fine holes having a diameter of 10 to 30 .mu.m in a direction perpendicular to a web on which printing is performed and the printing proceeds in an undried state. And a heated web is blown out from the fine holes.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The roll bar 10 used in the present invention has a surface with a diameter of 10 to 10.
It has a cylindrical shape in which 30 μm fine holes are distributed on one surface. Warming air is supplied from the other end of the hollow portion 11 of the cylinder whose one end is closed, and blows out from a fine hole. The roll bar can be manufactured by sintering several layers of metal wire mesh having a fine mesh, or by sintering by pressing and heating powder metal. Stainless steel, copper, etc. can be used as the metal material. The method of the present invention comprises:
Air is supplied to the hollow portion 11 of the roll bar from an air supply source such as a compressor or a blower through a pipe. The supplied air is heated. As a method of heating the air,
The high-temperature air compressed by the compressor may be used as it is, or may be achieved by providing a heater in the middle of the pipe from the air supply source to the roll bar or in the hollow portion 11. The temperature of the air blown out by heating is 80 ° C. or higher, preferably 110 ° C. or higher. In addition, it is not necessary to blow air on the entire surface of the roll bar, and it is preferable that air be blown only in a region where the web passes, and that the other region be cut off from blowing air.

According to the present invention, since a roll bar of a metal sintered body having a large number of fine holes is used, an air film is formed on the surface of the roll bar, so that the web does not come into contact with the roll bar. The direction of travel of the web can be changed. For this reason,
There is no extra tension on the web and no wrinkles on the web. Further, the ink can be efficiently dried by blowing heated air.
