[Field of technology to which the invention belongs]

According to the present invention, a plurality of disc storage trays, particularly, optical discs generally referred to as CDs, can be stacked by engaging in a spigot manner while each of them is accommodated, and the stacking state is extremely compact. The present invention relates to a recording disk storage tray that can be easily removed.

[Prior art]

Optical recording disks of this kind, such as CDs, are housed one by one in a rectangular deep case (mostly made of transparent plastic) with a hinge-opening lid. Stored side by side. Inside the main body of the case, there is provided a separate disk-shaped disk holding seat for holding the recording disk in a fixed position. In this case, a disk holding structure is provided at the center of the holding seat. The columnar projection is fitted into the center hole of the recording disk to hold the disk. To remove the disk, push the center of the short columnar projection with a finger or the like to bias the outer diameter of the projection inward. Take out the diametrically opposite sides by hand. Due to such a structure, the entire disc holding seat becomes a structural member having a considerable thickness, and therefore, the case body portion having the holding seat inside has a shape that is considerably larger in thickness than the thickness of the recording disc itself. Become.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]

In order to prevent the recording surface from being damaged or stained, this type of recording disk cannot be stored in a case by stacking multiple recording disks so as to be in close contact with each other. It must be stored in a large case and requires a large storage space compared to the number of thin recording disks. For example, when ten disk storage cases are stacked on ten recording disks, the total height of the stacked cases exceeds 10 cm. Also, when removing the stored disc from the case, open the case lid with both hands, push the center protrusion of the disc holding seat with your fingertips, and then manually touch both edges of the disc so as not to touch the recording surface. When the recording disk is housed in the case, the center hole of the disk and the short columnar projection must be fitted for extension, which complicates the operation. Was.

In the present invention, the thickness of the tray when the recording disk is accommodated is small, so that even if a plurality of trays are stacked in the disk accommodation state, the overall height is small. An object of the present invention is to provide a disk storage tray that is extremely easy to load and unload, and that does not cause any damage to the recording surface of the stored disk.

[Means for Solving the Problems]

The disk storage tray according to the present invention has a flat disk mounting surface constituting the upper surface of the tray, a flat tray overlapping surface constituting the lower surface of the tray, and a size substantially equal to the center hole of the recording disk and at least a fingertip. A central through-hole, an upper surface protruding portion having a height slightly exceeding the thickness of the recording disk, and an outer surface protruding portion formed outside the disk mounting surface except for a flat outer peripheral upper surface portion, and formed outside the tray overlapping surface. And a lower edge portion having a height substantially equal to the height of the upper projection, and the distance from the center of the tray to the inner wall of the upper projection is such that the recording disk is placed on the disk mounting surface. The distance from the center of the tray to the inner wall of the lower edge is the distance from the center of the tray to the inner wall of the lower edge. For up to Away it has become substantially equal to, so that the plurality of trays are stacked by an upper surface protrusion of the lower surface projecting edge and the mating of the tray is engaged with the spigot state thereby.

[Embodiment of the invention]

Next, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a top view of a recording disk storage tray 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a bottom view of the tray 1 shown in FIG. FIG. 3 is a sectional view taken along line AA of FIG. In this embodiment, the entire tray has a circular flat plate shape, and its outer diameter is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the recording disk to be accommodated. In the center of the tray 1, a through-hole 2 is formed so that a finger can be inserted into a fingertip of a person, for example, around the base of the index finger. Therefore, the through hole 2 is a hole which is substantially equal to or slightly larger than the size of the center hole 5 of the optical recording disc 5 which is generally called a CD. In FIG. 3, the recording disk 5 is indicated by a virtual line.

An annular upper surface projection 3 is formed on the upper surface of the tray 1 at a position slightly inward from the outermost peripheral position of the tray and concentrically with the through hole 2. The inner diameter of the annular upper surface protrusion 3 is such that the outer peripheral portion of the recording disk 5 lightly contacts the inner wall of the protrusion 3 when the recording disk 5 is accommodated in the tray 1. The inner part of the protrusion 3, that is, a flat area from the periphery of the through hole 2 to the upper surface protrusion 3 is the disk mounting surface 4 according to the present invention. The recording disk is positioned and concentric with the tray through-hole 2 without being displaced in the tray by the upper surface protruding portion 3 and accommodated therein. The height of the upper surface projection 3 is slightly higher than the thickness of the recording disk 5. Outside the upper surface projection 3 of the tray 1 is a flat outer peripheral upper surface portion 6 following the outermost peripheral edge of the tray. In this embodiment, the surface of the portion 6 is flush with the disk mounting surface 4.

Referring to FIG. 2, the lower surface of the tray 1, that is, the rear surface, is formed with a ridge 7 over the entire outermost periphery thereof, and the inner diameter of the lower surface ridge 7 (the inner wall of the ridge 7 having a large thickness). The diameter of the upper surface of the upper surface of the tray is set such that the lower surface protruding edge 7 engages with the upper surface protruding portion of the mating (lower) tray when another tray is superimposed thereon. The inner diameter is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the portion 3. The width of the lower surface protruding portion 7 is the same as the width of the outer peripheral upper surface portion 6 outside the upper surface protruding portion 3. Also, the height of the lower surface protruding portion 7 is the height of the upper surface protruding portion 3 of the tray 1, more precisely, from the surface of the outer peripheral upper surface portion 6 outside the upper surface protruding portion 3 to the top of the upper surface protruding portion 3. It is equal to the height. A region extending from the periphery of the central through hole 2 to the lower edge portion 7 forms a flat tray stacking surface 8.

FIG. 4 is a longitudinal sectional view showing a state in which five disk storage trays 1 according to the present invention are stacked. Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, when the recording disk 5 is placed on the disk mounting surface 4 on the upper surface of the tray with the recording surface facing downward in the above-described structure, the outer periphery of the disk 1 The center hole 5a of the disk 5 and the center through-hole 2 of the tray 1 are positioned and accommodated in alignment with each other by being restrained by the inner wall of the upper surface projection 3. The plurality of trays 1 each accommodating one recording disk 5 are overlapped so that the upper surface projection 3 fits inside the lower surface projection 7 of the upper mating tray 1. A large number of disk storage trays 1 are vertically stacked. Since the upper surface of the recording disk 5 placed on the disk mounting surface 4 is slightly lower than the upper surface protrusion 3 of the tray 1, even when the disks are stacked, the upper surface of the disk remains on the tray stacking surface 8 on the lower surface of the upper tray. The recording surface of the recording disk 5 is not pressed against the disk mounting surface 4 from above and is not pressed against the disk mounting surface 4 because the recording surface of the recording disk 5 is not pressed against the disk mounting surface 4 because a small gap is secured therebetween. Each of the trays 1 is fitted in the spigot state at the peripheral portion of the upper and lower trays adjacent thereto, so that the trays 1 do not shift in the radial direction in the overlapping state. In FIG. 4, for clarity, the recording disk 5 is indicated only by the phantom line on the uppermost tray 1, but in practice, the recording disk is also positioned on the lower tray 1 at the position indicated by reference numeral 10 in FIG. Is placed.

When removing the stored recording disk, for example, insert the fingertip of the index finger into the center hole 5a (FIG. 3) of the disk 5 and lift the hand as it is to place the recording disk 5 on the disk. Since the recording disk 5 is lifted from the surface 4, the recording disk 5 is taken out so as to lift the recording disk 5 between the disk center hole 5a and the peripheral portion of the disk with the forefinger and thumb. If the center through hole 2 of the tray 1 is made slightly larger than the disk center hole 5a, the index finger is inserted deeply into the through hole 2 of the tray 1 from the disk center hole 5a and pulled up. The disc 5 can be taken out with just one finger because the disc 5 is tightly inserted into the hole 5a. Incidentally, this kind of optical recording disc usually has a very small annular ridge formed at a portion slightly inward from the inner track of the recording surface area, and when the recording disc 5 is placed on the tray 1, this ridge is formed. Since the ridge hits the disk mounting surface 4 and the disk recording surface does not adhere to the disk mounting surface 4 of the tray 1 and a minute gap is formed between the recording surface of the disk and the mounting surface 4 described above. The security of the recording surface is ensured. Further, when the tray 1 is made of plastic, if the disk mounting surface 4 is frosted or roughened, mirror contact between the recording surface of the disk and the mounting surface 4 of the tray 1 is reliably prevented.

FIG. 5 is a top view of a disk storage tray according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a partial top view of a modification of FIG. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 5, the upper surface protrusion 3 is partially cut off at positions on both sides in the radial direction of the upper surface of the tray. When removing the stored recording disk, the tip of the index finger or the middle finger is inserted into the tray through hole 2 from the center hole 5a of the disk as described above. The disc is held in contact with the peripheral edge, and the disc is lifted and taken out by sandwiching the disc between the finger of the disc center hole and the thumb of the disc peripheral edge. In the case of FIG. 6, the upper surface protruding portion 3 is cut off not only in the diameter direction but also at a plurality of positions at appropriate intervals. Other configurations are the same as those in FIG. As described above, the cutout portion 11 of the upper surface projection 3 is not essential, and even if the upper surface projection 3 is a complete annular projection as in the embodiment of FIG. Absent. Further, in FIG. 2, the lower surface protruding portion 7 on the back side of the tray is formed in a continuous annular shape, but the present invention is not limited to such a protruding portion 7, but is divided into a plurality in the circumferential direction. The lower surface may be a projected edge portion.

The trays 1 containing the recording disks are stored in the tray housing case, for example, five or six sheets are stacked one by one, and stored, carried, or transported at the place of use in this state as in the case of the conventional recording disk housing case. The tray storage case applied in this case is closed with the lid hinged to the rear of the case main body, the projection of the knob provided on the front of the main body and the notch in the front of the lid locked. When the knob is depressed, a structure in which the lid is automatically opened by the action of a leaf spring provided at the hinge connection portion is employed. As a result, the storage case can be opened with a single touch, and the internal disk storage tray can be taken out.

[Effect of the invention]

As described above, according to the present invention, the recording disk can be positioned so as to match the center of the tray and can be accommodated in the tray, and the disk can be taken out with one hand very easily and without touching the recording surface. The recording surface during storage of the disk is not exposed to the outside, and the disk does not move in the tray, so that the disk can be stored in a safe form. Even if multiple trays are stacked in a disk storage state, the overall stacking height does not increase, and there is no side displacement of the trays when stacked, and multiple trays are stacked in a case. It offers many advantages, such as being able to be housed, carried and carried. By the way, when the five trays of the present invention are stacked, the overall height is less than 2 cm, and the storage space is remarkably reduced as compared with the case where five conventional disk cases exceed 5 cm.
