This is because the second moment of area that determines the strength of the structure increases as the distance h between the folded plate members increases. The permissible load value (reference value) of folded plate material required in heavy snow areas is 30.
Since the peak height H is 150 mm, even when the plate thickness t is 0.8 mm, the interval h is 150 mm or more, and when the peak height H is 173 mm, the plate thickness t is 0.1 kg / m 2 .
If the distance h is 220 mm or more even at 6 mm, the above-mentioned allowable load value is satisfied. By the way, according to the result of the experiment performed on the single folded plate member having the same forming material and width as those described above, the limit of the supporting span was 8 m under a load of usually 50 kg / m 2 .

Therefore, the roof can be constructed by largely omitting the construction of the foundations such as the beams and the main house supporting the roof. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the construction cost and the construction, and at the same time, it is possible to construct a building having a large column-free space.
