A telephone capable of storing identification information of a counterpart device transmitted via a communication line at the time of an incoming call and identification information of a counterpart device input when a call is transmitted to the counterpart device as history information in a storage means. Designating means for designating one piece of identification information; and collective erasing means for retrieving history information having the same identification information as the identification information designated by the designating means from the storage means and erasing them collectively.
