に本体1の下部仕切台5に対応する一対の上部仕切台6
を一体に設けた構造である。絶縁カバーは内筒の分割空
間を通して巻き回した2個の巻線と環状コア3を絶縁
し、中央仕切台4および下部仕切板5、上部仕切台6が
巻線同士を絶縁していた。

る。そのために、絶縁カバーの中で環状コアががたつく
ことがあり、又絶縁カバーに巻線により歪を生ずること
があるという欠点があった。本発明は、コモンモードチ
ョークコイルに使用する環状コアを樹脂により一体に成
形した樹脂モールドを施した環状コアの絶縁方法を得る
にある。

覆われた環状コア3は、環状コア3を図示しない射出成
形用の金型の内側壁の対向する箇所の、射出成形用の金
型内で環状コアを位置決めするため出没自在に設けた2
本ずつ計4本のピンで環状コアを位置決めし、金型内に
環状コアを宙吊り状態に支持して、射出成形で環状コア
3を樹脂により埋め込んで作られたものである。図1、
図2において、絶縁カバー7の外周面の小孔8は、前記
のピンを抜いた跡である。従って、環状コア3の表面
は、小孔8の部分を除いて絶縁カバー7で密着して覆わ
れる。小孔8は、絶縁カバー7とともに形成され、内周
部の中央仕切板9および上下面の仕切台10に対応する
箇所にある。チョークコイルの2個の巻線(図示しな
い)は、絶縁カバー7の上から中央仕切板9の両側の空
間にそれぞれ通して巻き回され、図2に矢印で示す外周
面には巻き回されない。小孔8は巻線が存在しない部分
の中央部にあるので、環状コア3と巻線間の絶縁距離を
所定寸法以上に確保できる。小孔8のために、外周部の
肉厚寸法を増す必要はなく、成形可能な最小の肉厚です
ませることが出来る。なお本実施例の環状コアは、軟磁
性フェライトコア、又は非晶質材からなる巻磁芯からな
る環状コアでもよい。

する効果がある。又絶縁カバーで包んだ環状コアは、取
扱い易いので巻回作業などの能率が向上する効果もあ
る。
