BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a corner material which is stuck to a corner of a wall or a pillar of a building, and which is subjected to finishing such as a cloth stuck thereon to beautifully finish the corner.

2. Description of the Related Art A conventional corner material has a substantially L-shaped cross section, and is entirely formed of a single hard material such as hard plastic or metal.

As described above, the conventional corner material is entirely formed of a hard material, and therefore, if it is used to form a corner portion, it naturally becomes a hard corner. Therefore, the finish such as the cloth pasting applied on this is easily damaged because the impact hit by the object or the like is properly received. In addition, objects and human bodies that hit the corner are also easily damaged. The present invention is a novel corner material for solving such a problem.

The corner section of the present invention is formed of a soft elastic material as described above, so that a soft corner is formed by constructing the corner using this material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings showing embodiments. The corner section 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a substantially L-shaped cross section. The corner portion 2 is made of a soft vinyl chloride resin, and the side portion 3 is made of a hard vinyl chloride resin. Further, the two side portions 3 are integrated at a connecting portion 4, and the strength of the side portions 3, 3 and the connecting portion 4 made of a hard material maintains the L-shaped overall shape. The tip of the side portion 3 is tapered in order to make the use of the corner profile less noticeable.

The molding 1 is formed by extruding a hard vinyl chloride portion and a soft vinyl chloride portion at the same time by extrusion molding, and immediately thereafter pressing both of them. However, the method for producing the mold material of the present invention is not limited to this, and it is needless to say that the mold material can be produced by various methods by applying a known molding method. In the construction example shown in FIG. 1, a gypsum board 6 is attached to the surface of a concrete pillar 5 with an adhesive 7 and a corner mold 1 is adhered to the corner.
Putty 8 is applied to the tip of the side portion 3 to eliminate a step, and a cloth 9 is stuck on the surface to finish. Even if an object or a part of the human body hits the corner part 2, the part is deformed and returns to its original shape due to elasticity.

In the corner mold 10 shown in FIG. 2, the corner portion 11 is made of a soft vinyl chloride resin and the side portion 12 is made of a hard vinyl chloride resin, similarly to the mold material 1 described above. Further, the two side portions 12 are integrated by a connecting portion 13. This mold member 10 has a larger corner portion 11 than the above-described mold member 1 and is formed in an arc shape. This is merely an example, but the shape of the details can be variously changed.

According to the corner material of the present invention, a soft corner is formed by constructing a corner part using the corner material, and the corner material is deformed by an impact hit by a part of a human body or an object.
