本考案は、プリペイドカードに関する。

【従来の技術】
カードの偽造を防ぐために、従来から、バーコード若しくは磁気バーコードを カードの表面に設けたり、記録面にパンチ孔をあける等の方法が実施されていた 。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
上記各方法では偽造する側が比較的容易にその構造を解析し、しかも、比較的 安価な装置を用いてカードを偽造できるという問題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本考案は、固有の反射方向特性を有する反射面と、その反射特性をコード化し た印刷部とを備えたことを特徴とする。

【作用】
固有の反射方向特性を有する反射面に特定の複数の方向から光を当てて光を反 射させ、その反射方向特性をコード化してこれを同じプリペイドカードに印刷し ておくから、使用時に反射特性と印刷されたコードを照合することにより、真贋 を容易に判定できる。

【実施例】
以下に本考案の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
【０００７】 図１は本考案実施例を示す平面図、図２は側断面図である。 プリペイドカード１には、細かいＶ溝あるいはＵ溝を複数本平行に、また、こ れらと適宜の角度で交互させて同様の平行溝を形成して固有の反射特性を持たせ た反射面２と、この反射面にカードの長手方向およびその直交方向から光を照射 したときの反射方向特性を測定してコード化し、反射特性コード印刷部３に印刷 しておく。上記反射面２は、カードに直接凸凹をつけてもよいが、この実施例で は、予めランダムに反射面を形成した薄いシートから切り出した小片を貼り付け 、その上を保護皮膜４で覆っている。 プリペイドカード使用時には、プリペイドカード読取書込み機が上記と同じ光 を反射面２に照射してその反射特性を測定するとともに、反射特性コード印刷部 ３のコードを読み取り、実測した反射特性と比較照合してプリペイドカードの真 贋を判定する。

【考案の効果】
本考案によれば、印刷コードは比較的簡単にコピーできても、反射面をコピー したり、複製することには容易でない。印刷のインクとして目に見えないインク を用いれば、複製、改ざんは一層困難になる。
