許容しない大きさになるまで現に払い出されつつある被
払出材にプラグの役割を果たさせることができる。(14) 前記払出部材により被払出材が払い出されたか

さい角度回転させられた状態で一旦払出部材の回転を止

いて述べるように、払出し時に作動させられてもよく、
あるいは払出し後に作動させられてもよく、任意の時期
に作動させればよく、ブリッジが解消されて被払出材が
確実に払い出される払出装置が得られる。(19) 前記ブリッジ解消装置が、前記フレームに前記
払出部材の回転軸線と平行な軸線のまわりに回転可能に
取り付けられたブリッジ解消回転体と、そのブリッジ解

能である。被払出材は、主としてブリッジ解消回転体の
回転軸線に直角な平面内において移動させられるため、
被払出材収容室が、上部においては幅および奥行きの両
方において複数個の被払出材が並ぶことを許容するもの
の場合、その上部内に、回転軸線が互いに直交するな
ど、回転軸線の向きが互いに平行ではない複数個のブリ
ッジ解消回転体を設け、被払出材が被払出材収容室内に
おいて互いに直交する2方向に移動させられてブリッジ
が確実に解消されるようにすることが望ましい。(20) 前記ブリッジ解消回転体が、回転軸線から外周
面までの半径が均一ではない半径不均一ローラを含む(1
9)項に記載の払出装置。半径不均一ローラが回転させら

させられ、ブリッジが解消される。半径不均一ローラの
表面を上記高摩擦材料で形成すれば被払出材の摩擦力
による移動も活発となり、一層有効である。(21) 前記半径不均一ローラの外周面に、半径が急変
する段付部と、半径不均一ローラの回転軸線に平行な方
向に関して傾斜した傾斜面との少なくとも一方が設けら
れた(20)項に記載の払出装置。このようにすれば、半径
不均一ローラの回転時の被払出材の移動量に急激な変化
が生じ、ブリッジが一層良好に解消される。(22) 前記払出部材の回転を前記ブリッジ解消回転体
に伝達する回転伝達装置を含み、前記払出部材駆動装置
が前記ブリッジ解消回転体駆動装置を兼ねる態様(19)な
いし(21)項のいずれか一つに記載の払出装置。払出装置
の構成を簡単にすることができるとともに、払出部材の
回転時のみブリッジ解消回転体が回転させられることと
なり、ブリッジ解消回転体の無用な回転を回避し得る。
特に、払出しが長い時間間隔で行われる場合にはブリッ
ジ解消回転体を常に回転させることはエネルギの無駄で
あるばかりではなく、被払出材に擦り跡を生じさせて望
ましくないため、本態様が有効である。(23) 前記ブリッジ解消装置が、前記払出部材の回転

き、品切れ状態の発生を回避できる。報知器を設けると
ともに、あるいは報知器の設置に代えて、被払出材の減
少が検出されたときに被払出材の払出しが止められるよ
うにしてもよい。被払出材減少検出時払出停止手段を設
