However, in response to the broadband service, an optical cable using an optical fiber as a core wire is laid between the exchange and the subscriber instead of a copper core wire cable. As optical transmission circuits for performing optical-to-electrical signal conversion are generally prepared outdoors, it becomes necessary for maintenance personnel to have optical fiber connection technology.

[0006] However, it is not easy in terms of skill and management to make the operator learn the optical fiber connection technology or hire a new maintenance person having the optical fiber connection technology. To avoid this, a one-touch connection structure using an optical fiber optical connector is required so that a maintenance person can handle the optical fiber as a conventional cable without any trouble.

However, in the rear connector connection method shown in FIG. 3A, the mounting direction of the circuit package 18 and the fitting direction of the connectors 16 and 21 need to be matched. Since the allowable bending diameter of the fiber is required to be one order of magnitude larger than that of the copper wire, a large dimension behind the back board 27 of the shelf 2 is required to connect the optical fiber cable 32 of the optical cable 31 introduced into the housing 38 with the connector. Is required, and the depth dimension of the housing 38 is unnecessarily increased. 3 (b) requires a sufficient space at the front of the circuit package 19 to securely connect the optical connector 34 at the end of the optical fiber cord 32 to the optical connector 17. In addition, it is necessary to give sufficient consideration to the bent shape of the optical fiber cord 32, and the depth of the housing 39 is unnecessarily large. As described above, when the enclosures 38 and 39 are enlarged, especially when installed outdoors, an enlargement of the site, a large diameter of the telephone pole, and an enlargement of the underground hall are required. And so on.

The object of the present invention is to provide, as shown in the principle explanatory diagram of FIG. 1, [1] a combination of a plurality of circuit packages 1 in which various circuits of a subscriber terminal are formed on a printed circuit board 11; This is inserted into the shelf 2 provided in the housing 3 from the front, and the connector on the rear
A subscriber terminal device 4 which is plug-in connected to and mounted side by side with a circuit package 1 and has a built-in optical module 12 for optical-electrical conversion. The optical fiber cord 32 pulled out by the optical fiber cord 14 provided with the optical fiber cord 32 and separated from the optical cable 31 introduced from the outside has an extra length accommodation portion 71 and the optical fiber cord.
14 and a connection section 72 for connector connection
The circuit package 1 or the plate 2 is held by a plate-shaped rotation support member 7 pivotally supported at the front of the adjacent side surface of the shelf 2 so that the surface is parallel to the surface 11 and is exposed forward. Alternatively, an urging means for urging the circuit package 1 to retract the rotation support member 7 backward and retract into the recessed portion 22 and a releasable lock for locking at a predetermined position where the rotation support member 7 is rotationally exposed forward against the urging. The present invention is achieved by an optical cable connection structure for a subscriber terminal device according to the present invention, comprising a locking means. [2] Here, the urging means is connected to a rear portion of the rotation support member 7,
The present invention is also solved by the optical cable connection structure of the subscriber terminal device of the present invention, in which a tension spring 73 is stretched on the circuit package 1 or the rear portion of the shelf 2. [3] Further, the lock means is provided at a predetermined position of the rotation support member 7 with a rotatable lock knob 75 having a tongue-shaped projection 76 provided on the front surface of the circuit package 1 or the shelf 2 and a rotation support member 7. The projection 76 is rotated from top to bottom in the engagement recess 74 of the rotation support member 7 which is rotatably exposed at a predetermined position in front of the rotation support member 7 and is abutted and engaged at a substantially horizontal position. The lock knob 75 is rotated in a state where the rotation support member 7 is pulled out slightly further forward from the locked state, and the projection 76 is engaged with the engagement recess 74 at the substantially vertical position above. The present invention is also achieved by the optical cable connection structure of the subscriber terminal device of the present invention, which unlocks and unlocks.

The tip of the rod portion of the rudder-shaped rotation support member 7 is pivotally supported by the circuit package 1, the base of which is a connecting portion 72, and an elongated recess 74 is provided at the rear thereof. The rudder-shaped part is an extra-length storage part 71, and a tension spring is provided between the trailing edge of the rudder-shaped part and a predetermined position of the shelf 2 or the circuit package 1 behind it.
73 is urged to pull the rotation support member 7 backward. As a result, the rear edge of the rod portion or the rudder-shaped portion abuts against the concave portion 22 provided at the bottom of the shelf 2 and the rotation support member 7
Is stored. The rotation support member 7 is pulled out by hand against this bias and rotated forward, and the protrusion of the lock knob 75 on the front side of the adjacent side surface of the circuit package 1 or the shelf (the figure shows the case of the circuit package 1). When the insertion 76 is inserted into the engagement recess 74 by turning the engagement, the projection 76 acts as a stopper to lock the rotation support member 7 in that position against the backward bias.
In this state, almost all of the rotation support member 7 is exposed, so that the connection processing of the optical fiber cords 14 and 32 can be performed sufficiently reliably.

First, the optical fiber cord 32 from the optical cable 31 coming up from the cable introducing section 88 is wound into a diameter larger than the allowable diameter to absorb the excess length, and is pulled out from the optical connector 33 at the tip and the optical module 12. The optical fiber cord 14 and the optical connector 13 are connected and fixed at the connection part 72. Alternatively, the connection at the connection member 72 can be easily released.

After the work is completed, if the lock knob 75 is turned to disengage the projecting member 76, the rotation supporting member 7 is retracted by the urging and is stored in the concave portion 22. Due to the rotation of the rotation supporting member 7, the bending diameter of the optical fiber cord 14 becomes larger than usual in the optical fiber cord 14 with respect to the bending of the optical fiber, so that there is no problem. Although it is stretched, the length from the extra length storage portion 71 to the cable introduction portion 88 is long, and the free shape can be adopted without causing any difficulty.

When the rotation support member 7 is pulled out by hand and substantially the entirety is exposed, and the edge of the engagement concave portion 74 appears before the front surface of the circuit package 1, the lock knob 75 is rotated counterclockwise to project the protrusion. When the cover 76 rotates integrally and descends from the top to the bottom, it enters the rear side of the engagement recess 74 and is stopped at a substantially horizontal position. At this position, a stopper function is performed, and the lock is performed as shown in FIG. I do.

The connection work is performed in this state. First, the optical cable 31 introduced from the outside into the cable introducing section 88 connects the composite metal core wire to the terminal, and the optical fiber cord 32 separated therefrom is led into the extra-length receiving section 71 and hanged on the wire holder 77 in order. The extra length of the winding is absorbed slowly, and the optical connector 33 at the tip is fitted and fixed to the adapter of the connection portion 72.

Since these operations can be performed in a state where the rotation supporting member 7 is substantially entirely exposed to the front, it is possible to ensure safety.
In this unlocking, the rotation support member 7 is pulled out a little further forward, and there is no pressing against the protruding portion 76. Then, the lock knob 75 is rotated to the right to engage the protruding portion 76 at the substantially vertical position above. It is released. After that, the rotation support member 7 is gently returned while being biased, and is stored against the recess 22.
