2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, for purifying rivers, purifying domestic wastewater, or purifying with an air purifier or the like, a fiber material is used as a filter material, for example, using a nonwoven fabric or crushed stone aggregate or a wire as a core material. A so-called scourer-like material is known and widely used.On the other hand, a plastic contact material, a nonwoven fabric contact material, and a synthetic fiber cloth are used as contact filter media for decomposing organic substances by microorganisms and purifying water quality. For example, a string-shaped contact material, a string-shaped contact material, or the like is used.

However, since the filter material is generally used in a form of being suspended from the upper part in a filtration tank, the filter material is entangled with other filter materials due to increased water caused by a typhoon or the like. There are inconveniences in maintenance such as an increase in resetting cost due to damage, etc.In addition, the use form is restricted such as a long and thin rod shape in order to increase the filtration area by arranging the fibers radially. there were.

[0004] More specifically, by arranging the fibers radially, from the tip to the middle, microorganisms, particularly eutrophic substances such as aerobic bacteria, are purified by degradation treatment, and anaerobic bacteria in the center. In order to form a cycle to decompose dead bodies such as surface microbial communities, activated sludge accumulates from the central part due to continuous use, and eventually a significant decrease in purification capacity due to covering the entire fiber structure Occurred and eventually resulted in maintenance problems, such as manual cleaning.

[Function] When a warp knitted fabric having a sheet-like knitted fabric on one side and a napped state on the other side is brought into contact with sewage such as a river or a pond as a filter medium, microorganisms adhere to the nap and the knitted fabric.・ Propagate and decompose organic matter in sewage to purify water. The napped part and the ground knitted part on one side increase the contact area, enhance adhesion of microorganisms, and improve purification performance.

The warp knitted fabric A having the above structure is knitted by a double Russell machine, and the front needle row F or the rear needle row B is chain-knitted to knit the front and rear chain stitch rows 2 and 4. At the same time, the front and rear chain stitch rows 2 and 4 are connected to each other with a binding yarn 3 to knit a knitted fabric in a raised state with respect to the ground structure, and the insertion yarn 1 is inserted into the chain stitch row 2 in the front needle row. The structure of one sheet-like ground knitted fabric 6 is knitted in a zigzag manner by laterally oscillating from about 2 to 10 courses, while the rear needle row is laterally skewed from about 2 to 4 courses using the insertion yarn 5. The warp knitted fabric A of the present invention is obtained by bundling the binding yarn 3 by shaking in the direction to maintain the napped state with respect to the ground knitted fabric 6.

The yarn used in the knitting of the warp knitted fabric may be a double raschel yarn such as a synthetic fiber yarn such as nylon, polyester, or polypropylene, a polyurethane elastic fiber yarn, or a natural fiber yarn such as cotton, depending on the use and purpose. Any thread can be used as long as it can be set on the machine,
Although it is arbitrarily selected, a synthetic knitting fabric or a synthetic fiber-based multifilament yarn is used for the chain knitting yarn that binds the binding yarn, and a thermoplastic synthetic fiber multifilament yarn is used for the binding yarn, especially a bulky yarn that has been subjected to bulky processing. Alternatively, it is preferable to use a synthetic fiber monofilament yarn aligned with this.

That is, in this case, the engaging position is shifted in the stitch row direction alternately and in the opposite direction in the chain stitch row of the front needle row and the rear needle row where the binding yarn 11 does not face directly. They are engaged and zigzagged and connected by shaking, thereby forming a knitted fabric A 'as shown in FIG. 2 having a pleated shape, that is, a corrugated plate shape or a bellows shape. Note that FIGS. 7 and 8 show the deformation of the tissue shown in FIG. 6 as in FIGS. 4 and 5 with respect to FIG.
The same reference numerals indicate states of the same parts. The yarns used in FIGS. 6 to 8 are the same as those described above. Reference numeral 5 'in the drawing denotes an insertion thread inserted into the chain stitch row 4 on the rear side and having a role of reinforcement.
