(A) To increase the engaging force between the locking projection of the outer cover member and the locking portion of the locking groove of the inner holding member. (A) Alternatively, the thickness of the seal lip of the outer cover member is increased to increase the elastic force based on the elastic deformation of the seal lip so that the opposing end surfaces of the both wall panels are elastic. (C) Alternatively, the thickness of the elastic lip of the inner holding member is increased to increase the resilience based on the elastic deformation of the elastic lip so that the elastic lip is brought into pressure contact with the opposite end faces of the both wall panels.

However, if the engaging force between the locking projection and the locking portion of the locking groove is increased, it becomes difficult to fit the locking projection into the locking groove, and the outer cover is closed to the gap between both wall panels. The mountability of the member and the inner holding member is deteriorated. Even when the resilience is increased by increasing the thickness of the seal lip or the elastic lip, it is difficult to fit the outer cover member or the inner holding member into the gap between the two wall panels.

Therefore, in the third embodiment, after the inner holding member 21 is fitted through the opening on the back side of the gap 2 between the two wall panels 1, the outer cover member 11 is inserted through the opening on the surface side of the gap 2. At the same time, the locking projection 13 is fitted into the locking groove 26 through the engaging portion 27 of the locking groove 26. At this time, the pair of leg pieces 26 made of a highly elastic synthetic resin is elastically expanded once in the direction in which they expand, and is restored to the original state when the locking projection 13 passes through the engaging portion 27. The locking projection 13 and the engaging portion 27 are engaged.

Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 10, the elastic lip 29 is foamed and expanded by the heat generated by the electric current flowing through the wire 30, so that the elastic lip 29 is strongly pressed against the opposing end faces of the two-wall panel 1. Then, a reaction force based on the pressure contact of the elastic lip 29 acts on the leg piece 25, thereby preventing the leg piece 25 from expanding. As a result, the engaging force between the engaging portion 27 of the leg piece 25 and the locking projection 13 is increased, and the outer cover member 11
Floating and detachment are positively prevented.

Therefore, in the fifth embodiment, when the inner holding member 21 is fitted into the opening on the back side of the gap 2 between the two wall panels 1, the elastic lip 29 is in a foam state. The fit of the inner holding member 21 does not deteriorate. As shown in FIG. 14, after the inner holding member 21 is fitted into the gap 2, hot air is blown from the hot air generator to the elastic lip 29 of the inner holding member 21. As a result, as shown in FIG. 15, the elastic lip 29 is heated and foamed and expanded, so that the elastic lip 29 is firmly pressed against the opposing end faces of both wall panels.
