A short cylindrical portion (25a) of the bracket (25) is fitted around the boss (11a) of the eccentric member (11). The bracket (25) is fixed so as not to rotate with respect to the eccentric member (11) by a fixing pin (26) inserted into the base end surface of the eccentric portion (11b) of the eccentric member (11). After a part of the bracket (25) is bent to the base end side, it protrudes radially outward corresponding to the stopper portion (4c) of the side plate (4), and this portion serves as a stopper portion (25b). I have. A spring mounting hole (27) is formed in this stopper portion (25b), and a bush (28) fitted into this hole (27) is stopped.
Both ends of a tension coil spring (29) are attached to the fixed part (1). The spring (29) biases the eccentric member (11) in a direction (clockwise in FIG. 1) in which the stopper (25b) of the bracket (25) is separated from the stopper (4c) of the side plate (4). Then, the idler (22) is pressed against the toothless (31) surface of the timing belt (30).

次に、上記のオートテンショナの動作を説明する。 Next, the operation of the above-described auto tensioner will be described.

When the belt (30) is stretched due to temperature change or use and the tension is to be reduced, the movable eccentric member (11) rotates in the direction of increasing the tension (clockwise in FIG. 1) by the spring (29), and the idler ( The tension is maintained at a predetermined value via 22). Conversely, if the belt (30) contracts due to a temperature change or the like and tries to increase the tension, the eccentric member (11) rotates in the direction of reducing the tension (counterclockwise in FIG. 1) against the spring (29). Then, the tension is maintained at a predetermined value. At this time, the belt (30) stretches or contracts very slowly,
The rotation speed of the eccentric member (11) is also very low, and the oil (O) does not restrain the rotation of the eccentric member (11).
On the other hand, the first partial cylindrical member (1) receives a high-frequency vibration load such as the vibration of the idler (22) and the eccentric member (11) due to the vibration of the belt (30) and the vibration of the engine.
4) and the inner peripheral surface of the eccentric hole (12), between the second partial cylindrical member (15) and the outer peripheral surface of the large diameter portion (2d) of the fixing member (2), and The rotation of the eccentric member (11) is suppressed by the shear resistance against the rotation of the silicone oil (O) interposed between the partial cylindrical member (14) and the second partial cylindrical member (15). Idler (2
2) The movement is suppressed, and the damper effect is exhibited.

Effect of the Invention According to the auto tensioner of the present invention, as described above, the surface area of the portion that receives the shear resistance of the oil is larger than that of the conventional one, so that a sufficient damper function is ensured. In addition, since the distance between the opposing surfaces of the part that receives the shear resistance is determined by the thickness of the first and second partial cylindrical members, the above-mentioned distance can be easily managed. Therefore, the auto tensioner can be made compact.

An auto-tensioner comprising: an idler that is attached to contact a belt; and a spring that biases the movable eccentric member in a direction in which the idler comes into pressure contact with the belt, wherein an eccentricity between an outer peripheral surface of the fixed member and the movable eccentric member is provided. An annular closed space is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the hole and an inner peripheral surface of the hole, and a first partial cylindrical member slidably contacting the inner peripheral surface of the eccentric hole of the movable eccentric member is fixedly provided on the fixed member. The movable eccentric member is fixedly provided with a second partial cylindrical member slidingly contacting the outer peripheral surface of the fixed member and the inner peripheral surface of the first partial cylindrical member, and the sealed space is filled with high-viscosity oil. This oil is eccentric with the outer peripheral surface of the fixing member. Between the inner peripheral surface of the hole, between the first partial cylindrical member and the inner peripheral surface of the eccentric hole, between the second partial cylindrical member and the outer peripheral surface of the fixing member, and the first partial cylinder An auto tensioner interposed between the cylindrical member and the second partial cylindrical member.
