There are difficulties such as generation of corrosive gas containing halogen. On the other hand, in the case of blending a metal hydrate, the flame retardant effect is low, so it is necessary to blend in a large amount, and as a result, the mechanical strength such as tensile strength and elongation of the composition decreases and the cold resistance decreases. Inconvenience. The present invention has been made in view of such a conventional situation.

That is, the flame retardancy is improved by adding zinc sulfide. As the polyolefin resin used in the present invention,
Homopolymers of olefin monomers such as low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene, polybutene-1, polyisobutylene, and poly-4-methyl-1-pentene; , Ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer (EE
A), ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer (EAA), ethylene-propylene copolymer (EPR), ethylene-propylene-gen copolymer (EPD), ethylene-butene Examples of the copolymer include an olefin monomer such as a -1-gen copolymer, an ethylene-butene-1 copolymer, an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer, and an ionomer resin. Further, as the inorganic flame retardant, metal hydroxides such as aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, and clay, talc, alumina, silica and the like are used, preferably a metal hydroxide having a high flame-retardant effect. desirable. The amount of the inorganic flame retardant varies depending on the required degree of flame retardancy, but is usually 50 to 200 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin. If the amount is less than 50 parts by weight, the flame-retardant effect is insufficient, and if it exceeds 200 parts by weight, the mechanical properties of the composition are sharply reduced, which is inconvenient. Here, in the present invention, since the flame retardancy is improved by the addition of zinc sulfide, the compounding amount of this inorganic flame retardant may be relatively small, and the compounding amount of the metal hydroxide is about 100 parts by weight. A sufficient flame-retardant effect is obtained, and the decrease in mechanical properties and the like due to the blending of the inorganic flame retardant is small. Further, the zinc sulfide used in the present invention is for improving the flame retardancy as described above, and its compounding amount is 1 to 10 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin. . If the amount is less than 1 part by weight, a sufficient flame-retarding effect cannot be obtained, and if it exceeds 10 parts by weight, the degree of deterioration of the mechanical properties of the composition becomes large, which is inconvenient. As described above, in the composition of the present invention, good flame retardancy is obtained by the addition of the zinc sulfide, and at the same time, higher flame retardancy is obtained by the presence of the inorganic flame retardant. For this reason, it is possible to reduce the amount of the inorganic flame retardant to be blended, and the composition has high flame retardancy and excellent mechanical properties and cold resistance. Further, since there is no halogen-containing compound in the composition, no harmful corrosive combustion gas is generated during combustion. Further, the flame retardant composition of the present invention can also be used in combination with other flame retardants, whereby higher flame retardancy can be imparted. As such a flame retardant,
Examples include carbon black and red phosphorus. Further, depending on the use of the composition, a halogen-based flame retardant may be blended. Further, the flame-retardant composition of the present invention, if necessary, an inorganic filler, a softener, a coloring agent, an antioxidant, an antioxidant,
Various additives such as stabilizers can be added in desired amounts. Then, the flame-retardant composition is kneaded by ordinary kneading means such as a high-speed stirrer, a mixing roll,
It is made into resin molded products such as insulators such as electric wires and cables and sheaths by molding machines such as extruders and injection molding machines.
