デイスク駆動装置は、パーソナルコンピユータやワード
プロセツサ等の情報処理装置の外部記憶装置として現在
では広く用いられている。これらの情報処理装置の一つ
に、静止画像を記録/再生するためのスチルビデオフロ
ツピデイスク起動装置と称されるものがある。このデイ
スク駆動装置は、スチルビデオフロツピカメラに搭載さ
れ、感光フイルムを用いたカメラと同様の操作により、
スチルビデオフロツピデイスクに画像情報を記録するよ
うになつている。2. は、第3図に示すように、磁気ヘツド1を突出・支持す
る負圧パツドとも称されるヘツド支持体2と、デイスク
4のヘツド支持体2からの最大離間量を規制する上パツ
ドとも称される規制部材3とが具備されている。ここ
で、ヘツド支持体2は、例えば特願昭62−251543号の如
きものであつて、デイスク回転時に負圧を発生させるた
めの凹陥部を有し、この凹陥部内に磁気ヘツドを突出、
支持してデイスクを吸引するようになつている。また、
ヘツド支持体2の上面2a、つまりデイスク4との対向面
は、磁気ヘツド1とデイスク4との接触を安定させて記
録再生特性を向上させるために図示の如くに傾けてあ
り、上面2aのデイスク回転方向(矢印A方向)上流側部
分2bが下流側部分2cよりもデイスク4の自由回転面Bに
近接させてある。一方、規制部材3は昇降可能に保持さ
れていて、ロード時には通常、ヘツド支持体2の近傍で
磁気ヘツド1よりもデイスク回転方向上流側に配置さ
れ、その最下端をデイスク4の自由回転面Bよりも下方
に位置させることにより、回転時のデイスク4のヘツド
支持体2近傍でのばたつきを抑えることができ、その結
果としてデイスク4が確実にヘツド支持体2の上面2aに

事故を回避するためには、規制部材3の取付精度を高め
ねばならず、結果として装置の組立性を低化させる要因

規制部材を、上記ヘツド支持体の近傍で上記磁気ヘツド
よりもデイスク回転方向下流側に配置すると共に、上記
規制部材の最下端を磁気デイスクの自由回転面よりも上
記ヘツド支持体側に位置させたことによつて達成され

4が回転駆動されるようになつている。したがつて、デ
イスク4は磁気ヘツド1の下流側で規制部材3によりば
たつきを抑えられて、自由回転面Bよりも下方に撓むこ
とになり、その結果デイスク4はヘツド支持体2の上面
2aに近接して両者間に負圧が発生し、この上面2aに吸引
されるデイスク4と磁気ヘツド1との安定接触が保証さ

せたため、デイスクは磁気ヘツドの下流側で規制部材に
よりばたつきを抑えられて、自由回転面よりも下方に撓
むことにより、その結果デイスクはヘツド支持体の上面
に近接して両者間に負圧が発生し、この上面に吸引され
るデイスクと磁気ヘツドとの安定接触が保証されてい
る。また、ヘツド支持体のデイスクとの対向面のうち下
流側部分の方が、上流側部分よりも、デイスクの自由回
転面との間隙が広いことに着目し、磁気ヘツドよりも下
流側に配置した規制部材によつてデイスクのヘツド支持
体からの最大離間量を規制するので、この規制部材の取
付位置に多少の誤差があつてもデイスクの損傷や回転不
能を招来する虞れがなくなり、そのため規制部材に対し
従来のような高い取付精度が要求されなくなつて磁気デ
イスク駆動装置の組立性が大幅に向上し、コストダウン
