輪車の駆動源は内燃機関ではなくバッテリーで直接モー
タを回転駆動される形式であり、電源には48Vのバッ
テリーが用いられる。

く、消費電流が少ないので、バッテリー等に負担が少な

で、他の灯火器のように奥行きや高さを取らず、コンパ
クトな配置が可能となる。 (7) 発熱が少ないため、バックミラーなどの狭い箇
所や樹脂部材の中にも内蔵することができる。 (8) 面発光であるため、バルブを使用した灯体のよ
うに発光むらが生じずデザイン上有利であり、明るさが
均一であるため視認性の方向性がない。
