【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、円筒ドラムに感光液を塗布することによっ
て電子写真感光体を製造する際にその円筒ドラムの位置
決めを図る装置に関する。

保持する調整作業が必要となる。この場合、所要の塗布
層厚はきわめて薄いため、円筒ドラムが0.1mmずれても
周方向に関し、全体としてみれば塗膜層の膜厚の大きな
偏差要因となる。
2. て連続的に供給するとともに、塗布ヘッドを転子を介し
ながら水平方向に移動させながら、ドラムの外周面に対
する塗布ヘッドの相対位置関係を調整するものが知られ
ている。

置において、その外周面に対して流体を吹き付けてその
流体圧により円筒ドラムの位置決めを行う吹付手段を有
することで解決される。

れるようになっており、環状ヘッダ4に導かれた高圧エ
アは各吐出ノズル3、3、3から均一の吐出量および圧
力をもってドラム基体1の外周面に向かって高速で吹き
付けられる。その結果、ドラム1はその軸心が、塗布ヘ
ッド2の中心軸に対して同一に位置決めされる。したが

性向上のために、電荷発生層と電荷輸送層を積層した機
能分離型感光層も用いることができる。
