It is configured by combining 12, a horizontal die 13, an upper die 14, and an upper auxiliary die 141. Reference numeral 2 denotes a cavity of the mold apparatus 1, which has a shape of a vehicle wheel.
Numeral 121 denotes an insert, which is protruded from the middle die 12 and extends into the cavity 2. The insert 121 is for forming a shaft hole of a vehicle wheel. Next, reference numeral 131 denotes a runner, which extends sideways in the horizontal mold 13. The runner 131 is open to the side (rim forming space) of the cavity 2 via the weir 3. The other end of the runner 131 has an opening 4 on the outer surface of the horizontal mold 13. Reference numeral 5 denotes an auxiliary type, which is installed in close contact with the outside of the horizontal type 13. Reference numeral 51 denotes a dome-shaped main space, which is formed inside the auxiliary mold 5 and has an opening 511 on the lower surface of the auxiliary mold 5. Reference numeral 52 denotes a connecting path, which is formed in the auxiliary mold 5 like the main space 51. One end of the connection path 52 is opened in the main space 51 and the other end is opened 521 in the left side surface (in FIG. 1) of the auxiliary mold 5. And
The outer opening 521 of the connecting passage 52 is connected to the outer opening 4 of the runner 131.
And is facing. Therefore, the molten metal in the main space 51 can flow into the runner 131 after passing through the connection path 52. Reference numeral 61 denotes a Stoke auxiliary ring, which is in contact with the peripheral edge of the lower opening 511 of the auxiliary die 5. Reference numeral 62 denotes a Stoke main body, which is provided continuously below the Stoke auxiliary ring 61. The Stoke main body 62 and the Stoke auxiliary ring 61 are integrated to form a so-called “Stoke”. Reference numeral 7 denotes a flat filter, which is sandwiched between the auxiliary mold 5 and the Stoke auxiliary ring 61. The filter 7 has a net shape, and filters the molten metal supplied to the runner changing tool 5 through the stalk 6.

Reference numerals 81, 82, and 83 denote annular mold members which are inserted into the insertion holes 142 via the gaps S and are sequentially stacked. Here, the inner diameter of the middle annular mold member 82 is larger than the inner diameter of the lower annular mold member 81, and the inner diameter of the upper annular mold member 83 is larger than the inner diameter of the middle annular mold member 82. Also, the inner peripheral surfaces of these annular mold members 81, 82, 83 are formed in a tapered shape whose diameter increases toward the lower end, and the continuous portions on the inner peripheral surfaces of the respective annular mold members 81, 82, 83 are stepped. The shape. this is,
This is to prevent an undercut from occurring even if the annular mold members 81, 82, 83 are moved in the insertion hole 142 by the gap S in the horizontal direction. Reference numeral 84 denotes a board-shaped mold member, which is inserted into the insertion hole 142 via a gap S similarly to the annular mold members 81, 82, and 83. The board-shaped mold member 84 is placed on the upper surface of the annular mold member 83, and forms a feeder forming space A in the inner peripheral portion of the annular members 81, 82, 83. Note that a stepped portion is also formed in the continuous portion between the board-shaped mold member 84 and the annular mold member 83 so that the undercut does not occur as described above. or,
In the plate-shaped mold member 84, 841, 841,...
B, ... are vents (see FIG. 3). 842,831,82
Reference numerals 1,811 denote gas vent grooves, which are formed on the lower surface of the disc-shaped mold member 84 or the annular mold members 81, 82, 83 (see FIGS. 3 and 4; FIG. 3 shows an annular shape). Mold member
85). These grooves 842,831,821,811
Act as vents when stacked (see FIG. 2).
