供するにある。

型回転台4を回転自在に配設し、この金型回転台4に図
のように金型5を均一なピッチで放射状に複数個(図上
では45度ピッチで8個)嵌着するようにして形成してい
る。そして、第1図のようにベッド3側に下ダイプレー
ト6を設置し、プレススライド2側に金型5に対抗して
パンチ部7を突き出した上ダイプレート8を設置し、金
型5に投入した成形用の材料9を鍛圧してプレス成形で
きるようにしている。

の材料9の一端部のフランジ12に対応したインプレッシ
ョン10を設けており、また分割した金型5は位置決めピ
ン等で精密に接合したり、いんろう等の接合手段(図示
せず)で分割容易に接合するようにできるものである。
そして、第2図のようにプレス成形装置1の装置本体か
ら金型回転台4の一部を突き出した材料投入位置13で、
上記金型ホルダー11に材料9を装填した金型5を投入
し、金型回転台4の1ピッチ毎の回転とともに、所要の
パンチ部7で第6図、第7図、第8図のように順次金型
5に装填した材料9を鍛圧して材料9の上部にフランジ
12を形成するようにしている。金型5がほぼ1回転すれ
ば、図のように成形品取り出し位置14で第9図のように
成形した材料9を割り金型5ごとノックアウトピン15で
押し上げて取り出すようにしている。

るものである。なお、材料の両側にボスやフランジが突
設する鍛造部品の場合には、一層の省力化の効果をあげ
うるものである。
