2. Description of the Related Art Artificial turf is generally made of a woven or non-woven fabric as a base cloth and densely piled with synthetic resin pile yarns by a tufted machine or the like. In many cases, flat yarns, split yarns, monofilaments, multifilaments, etc., which are given high strength, are twisted or crimped to make them look and feel similar to natural grass. Various synthetic resins are used as the material for these pile ground yarns. In particular, artificial turf used in athletic facilities is required to have sufficient strength characteristics to withstand use under severe conditions, Polyamide-based, polyester-based, and polyvinylidene chloride-based synthetic resins are mostly used because they are relatively hard, have rigidity, have good resilience to bending, and must have heat resistance during backing.

The polyolefin-based synthetic resin is relatively soft and inferior in rigidity, and therefore has poor restorability.
In addition, it is used only for artificial grass with limited applications because of poor heat resistance, etc., but it has excellent weather resistance, cold resistance, and good processability that polyolefin synthetic resin has It is an object of the present invention to provide an artificial turf pile ground yarn containing a polyolefin-based synthetic resin as a main component.

The pile ground yarn 2 of the present invention has a three-layer structure, and the polyolefin-based synthetic resin which is the main component of each layer includes ethylene, propylene, 1-butene, 4-methyl-1-pentene and the like. Or a copolymer of these α-olefins and other comonomers.

In the three-layer structure, a polycarbonate resin is blended with a polyolefin synthetic resin for the purpose of increasing the rigidity of the core layer 3 and improving the resilience as the pile ground yarn 2. It is. The polycarbonate resin is a carbonate-type synthetic resin having diphenylalkane. Here, the alkane constituting the polycarbonate includes methane, ethane, propane, butane and the like.

The compounding amount of the polycarbonate resin may be 3 to 25 parts by weight, preferably 5 to 10 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin synthetic resin. When the amount of the polycarbonate resin is less than the lower limit, no suitable improvement in rigidity is exhibited, and when the amount is more than the upper limit, the productivity as a yarn is remarkably increased due to poor stretching due to poor dispersion and the like. It is inferior.

Further, since the polycarbonate resin has a higher melting point than the polyolefin synthetic resin, a part thereof is dispersed as fine particles when melt-extruded, so that fine irregularities are formed on the interface between the front and back outer layers. This suppresses delamination between the core layer 3 and the outer layer 4.

When the artificial grass is laid outdoors, the surface of the artificial grass shines white due to reflection on the pile due to the angle of insertion of sunlight depending on the viewing direction, and the original grass looks green originally. In some cases, the appearance of the pile ground yarn 2 is different from that of a natural lawn. Therefore, the pile ground yarn 2 is matted by adding a filler, and physical unevenness is formed on the surface. Therefore, in order to make it closer to the natural state when laid as an artificial turf, a decomposable foaming agent is contained in the polyolefin-based synthetic resin of the outer layer 4 on both the front and back sides constituting the pile ground thread 2 and a foamed resin layer is formed by melt extrusion. Is what you do.

[0010] Decomposition type foaming agents are those which are dispersed in a synthetic resin and generate gas by thermal decomposition upon heating to form a foamed resin, and are classified into inorganic foaming agents and organic foaming agents.
An organic foaming agent is employed because it is easy to adjust conditions such as a gas generation rate and a decomposition temperature and can obtain fine closed cells. Examples of the organic foaming agent include azo-based foaming agents such as azodicarbonamide, nitroso-based such as dinitrosopentamethylenetetramine, and hydrazide-based foaming agents such as p-toluenesulfonylhydrazide.

The compounding amount of the decomposition type foaming agent may be 0.1 to 2 parts by weight, preferably 0.2 to 0.5 part by weight, per 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin synthetic resin. When the amount of the decomposable foaming agent is less than the lower limit, sufficient foaming does not appear on the surface and there is no great difference in appearance, and when the amount is more than the upper limit, it is difficult to adjust the foaming state and the surface is easily worn. As a result, the yarn quality of the artificial grass is low.

The three-layer film composed of the core layer 3 and the front and back outer layers 4 is obtained by co-extrusion at a temperature not lower than the decomposition temperature of the decomposable foaming agent. A method in which the respective resins of the core layer 3 and the outer layer 4 are supplied into the die from a die and laminated in a molten state inside or outside the die lip. This is an effective method for suppressing delamination and ensuring good productivity. is there.

The formed three-layer film is cut into a predetermined width and then stretched to improve the tensile strength in the longitudinal direction to form a composite flat yarn 5. The stretching method is a roll method or a hot plate method. Well-known methods such as an oven type, an aquarium type and the like can be adopted. The draw ratio is required to be about 3 to 10 times. If the draw ratio is lower than this, it is not possible to obtain sufficient tensile strength as a pile ground yarn for artificial grass, and if the draw ratio is high, the draw ratio is high. The productivity of the yarn is remarkably inferior due to frequent occurrence of cuts and the like. Here, when the composite flat yarn 5 has a relatively high fineness, it is effective to apply splitting processing to a split yarn in terms of texture and appearance as an artificial turf.

The yarn for artificial turf pile ground of the present invention has a three-layer structure employing a polyolefin-based synthetic resin as a main component, and maintains the weather resistance and cold resistance characteristics while maintaining the rigidity of the core layer. However, even if it falls down due to pressure, it exhibits sufficient restoring properties, and by forming a foamed resin layer on both front and rear outer layers, diffused light reflection on the surface suppresses white light and gives the appearance of a natural lawn. Furthermore, since it is a crimped yarn, it is planted on a base cloth to form an artificial grass, and if it is an artificial grass containing sand that fills sand with grass etc., the filler trapping effect is high. It has excellent compression elasticity.

The artificial grass turf pile ground yarn of the present invention uses a polyolefin-based synthetic resin as a main component, thereby maintaining the inherent excellent weather resistance and cold resistance characteristics, and additionally, the core. By adding a predetermined amount of polycarbonate resin to the layer, rigidity is imparted and the layer is planted as a pile, and has sufficient resilience even if it falls down by pressing. In addition, by forming a foamed resin layer by blending a decomposable foaming agent on both front and back outer layers, irregularities are formed on the surface of the yarn, and irregular light reflection due to this suppresses white light on the surface, and the natural grass can be seen from a distance perspective. Will be exhibited. Furthermore, since it is a pile thread made of synthetic resin that has been crimped, if it is used for artificial turf containing sand, which fills the grass with a filler such as sand, the effect of capturing the filler is high and the packing density due to movement It hardly changes, has the effect of suppressing the hardening of the filler, and is an effective yarn for artificial grass pile ground in compression sports as well as in athletic facilities.
