する時塑性変形させていないので第5図bのようにヘタ
リが大きく長期間安定したトルク特性が得られず、又第
5図Bのようにトルク特性先端が上方に立ち上り、直線
状の特性が得られないという問題点があった。

厚く内方部に行くに従って次第に薄くなるようにし、高
トルクをかけてばね板1を塑性変形させた後、第3図の
如くスペーサー4を除き、第3図の不等ピッチ偏心うず
巻ばね5を形成する。該不等ピッチ偏心うず巻ばね5
は、ばね板1間のピッチPが中心より外側に行くに従っ
て次第に広くなる不等ピッチになっており、且つうず巻
きが偏心して非対称形になっている。

締め中でも第4図の如く左側のピッチ(隙間)が最初大
きいのでばね板1のばね板間の接触、摩擦が少なくな
り、巻き締め最終時の立ち上り部が第5図Aの如く低く
なってトルク特性が略直線状に改善された。そのため自
動車のリクライニングシートやウインドレギュレターに
使用した時、異音発生が少くなり不快感がなくなり乗心
地がよくなり、又うず巻きばねをセッチィング時高トル
クで塑性変形してあるので、第5図aの如くヘタリが少
く長期間安定したトルク特性が得られる。
