(Prior Art) Conventionally, in order to weld a brush wire of a brush contact used for a trimmer, a potentiometer or the like, a ladder-like window hole is provided between an upper rotating electrode 1 and a lower rotating electrode 2 as shown in FIG. 3
The bundle 6 of the brush wire 5 horizontally arranged on the upper side of the supplementary base material 4 is fed in, and the wire bundle 6 is supplied to each of the upper and lower rotary electrodes 1, 2 by applying a pressurizing current. 7 are sequentially welded.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) By the way, in the above-described method for welding a brush wire, even when the portion of the window hole 3 of the band-shaped base member 4 with the window hole 3 passes between the upper and lower rotating electrodes 1 and 2, the sixth method is used. As shown in the figure, since the upper rotating electrode 1 is in contact with the wire bundle 6 of the brush wire 5 and constantly outputs a pulse signal as a seam welding machine, the wire bundle 6 of the brush wire 5 is The portion was damaged by being pressurized by the upper rotating electrode 1, or was damaged by the discharge of a pulse signal. For this reason, the brush wire 5 may cause contact failure as a brush contact, resulting in poor contact reliability.

Therefore, the present invention is to provide a method for welding a brush wire at a brush contact, in which the upper rotating electrode does not come into pressure contact with the brush wire except when the wire bundle of the brush wire is welded to the ridge of the band-shaped base material with a window. It is assumed that.

(Means for Solving the Problems) A method for welding a brush wire of a brush contact according to the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems is characterized in that a brush wire is provided on upper surfaces on both left and right sides of each window hole portion of a ladder-shaped window-shaped band-shaped base material. A linear projection higher than the diameter is provided to feed the band-shaped base material between the upper and lower rotating electrodes, and at the same time, feed a bundle of brush wires arranged in a large number horizontally above the central part of the band-shaped base material, and The present invention is characterized in that a wire bundle of a brush wire is sequentially welded to each of the ridges of the window-shaped base material by applying a pressure to both rotating electrodes.

(Function) As described above, in the brush wire welding method for a brush contact of the present invention, the ladder-shaped band-shaped base material with a window hole for welding the brush wire material is higher than the diameter of the brush wire material on the upper surface on both the left and right sides of each window hole portion. Since the window-shaped strip base provided with the linear projections is used, a plurality of brush wire rods horizontally aligned with the window-shaped strip base are fed between the upper and lower rotating electrodes. Except when the wire bundle of the brush wire is welded to each joint by pressurization of the upper and lower rotating electrodes, the upper rotating electrode is the diameter of the brush wire on the upper left and right sides of each window hole of the window-shaped band base. The brush wire is not damaged by the upper rotating electrode because it comes into pressure contact with the higher linear projection but not with the brush wire.
In addition, the upper rotating electrode discharges the pulse signal transmission through the linear projections of the window-shaped base member, so that the brush wire is not damaged by the discharge.

(Embodiment) An embodiment of the brush wire welding method for a brush contact of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 13mm wide and 0.1m thick as shown in Fig.1.
A line having a height of 0.1 mm, which is higher than the diameter of a brush wire 5 to be described later, is formed on the upper surface 8 on both left and right sides of each of the window holes 3 of the phosphor base material 4 made of phosphor bronze having a window hole 3 of 7 mm wide and 10 mm long. The strip projection 9 is provided by pressing from the back surface, and the
As shown in the figure, 14 pieces of Au9wt% -Pt10wt% -Pd35wt% -Ag30wt% of a wire diameter of 0.09mm, which are fed between the upper and lower rotating electrodes 1 and 2 and arranged at the center of the belt-shaped base material 4 at the same time, are arranged 14 lines horizontally. -
The wire bundle 6 of the brush wire 5 made of Cu15wt% -Zn10wt% is fed in, and the wire bundle 6 of the brush wire 5 is turned on by the energization of the upper and lower rotating electrodes 1 and 2, so that the wire bundle 6 of the band material 4 with the window hole 3 is formed. 7 were sequentially welded.

The brush contact strip 10 thus obtained is then cut at both left and right ends of each of the rungs 7 as shown in FIG. 3, and the wire bundle 6 of the brush wire 5 is placed at a position of a chain line 7 mm longer than the rungs 7. Then, as shown in FIG. 4, the front end of the wire bundle 6 of the brush wire 5 was formed to form a 0.5R semicircular contact portion 11 on the lower side, thereby obtaining a brush contact 12.

On the other hand, a conventional example will be described. As shown in FIG. 5, a ladder-shaped window hole having the same dimensions and the same material as the embodiment except that no linear projection 9 is provided between the upper rotary electrode 1 and the lower rotary electrode 2. A bundle 6 of brush wires 5 of the same dimensions and the same material as in the embodiment in which three attached base materials 4 and 14 lines are arranged horizontally on the upper side thereof are fed in, and the upper and lower rotating electrodes 1 and 2 are energized by pressurization. The wire bundle 6 was sequentially welded to each of the ridges 7 of the band-shaped base member 4.

The brush contact strip 10 thus obtained was then subjected to the steps of FIGS. 3 and 4 in the same manner as in the above-described embodiment to obtain the brush contacts 12.

However, when quality inspection was performed on each of the 1000 brush contacts 12 of the embodiment and the conventional example, the brush wires 5 of the conventional example had scratches and discoloration of the brush wire 5 in 34 out of 1000 contacts. On the other hand, no scratches or discoloration occurred on the brush contacts 12 of the embodiment. In this embodiment, the ladder-shaped window hole 3 with the linear projections 9 on the right and left upper surfaces 8 of the window hole 3 is used as the ladder-shaped window hole 3 with the window hole 3. It is nothing but because it is.

(Effects of the Invention) As can be seen from the above description, according to the method for welding a brush wire of a brush contact according to the present invention, except when the wire bundle of the brush wire is welded to each rung of the ladder-shaped window-shaped band-shaped base material. Since the upper rotating electrode does not come into pressure contact with the brush wire, the brush wire is not damaged by the upper rotating electrode and is not damaged by the discharge of the pulse signal transmission. Therefore, the brush wire does not cause a contact failure as a brush contact and has high contact reliability.
