Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply perform positioning and supporting of a pipe in the circumferential direction and the axis direction by forming a notch of U-shaped cross section on the peripheral surface of the pipe on which lubricating oil injection holes are formed, and engaging the notch with a bolt arranged in a cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating oil injection pipe 20 is arranged inside of a cylinder head 1. On the peripheral surface of the pipe 20, plural injection hole 20a are formed, and these holes are respectively provided adjacent to a recessed part (not shown) formed above the combustion chamber of the cylinder head 1. In this case, the notch 20b of U-shaped cross section is formed on the peripheral surface of the pipe 20 at the position in which a bolt 21 for attaching a cylinder cover to the cylinder head 1 is inserted and fitted. Movement of the pipe 20 in the circumferential direction is thus restricted by abutting the bottom part 20c of the notch 20b against the bolt 21, and movement of the pipe 20 in the axis direction is restricted by abutting the side parts 20d, 20e against the bolt 21.

プレートで、噴射された潤滑油(矢印B)が動弁機構に
付着することを阻止するものである。

シリンダヘッドカバーをシリンダヘッド1に取り付ける
ボルト8とを係合させ、これによりパイプ4における円
周方向の移動を規制するとともに、またシリンダヘッド
1の左側面1aにパイプ4の抜止め用のフランジ9を一対
のボルト10により固定し、これによりパイプ4の軸方向
における移動を規制するようにしていた。なおこのフラ
ンジ9には前記パイプ4に連通する略L字形のパイプ11
が連結し、この略L字形のパイプ11の他端にはスリーブ
12を介して潤滑油を供給するゴムホース13が連結されて
いる。

4bと同一位置に形成され、同一の機能を果たす潤滑油供
給用の孔である。

欠20bの側方に相当する部分20d、20eとボルト21との当
接によって規制されるため、パイプ20に形成された噴射
孔20aは第3図に示す凹部3に臨む所定の位置に正確に
潤滑油を噴射させるべく位置決め支持されることとな
る。

の部品が不要となって部品点数及び組立て工程数が大巾
に減少し、このためシリンダヘッド冷却装置の生産性を
向上させるとともに、その生産コストの低減を図ること
が出来る。
