Utilizing the color-forming reactivity of an electron-accepting color developer (hereinafter, referred to as a color developer), a microcapsule containing a color-developing agent made by a method such as a phase separation method, an interfacial polymerization method, and an in-situ method. The upper paper coated on the back side of the base paper and the lower paper formed by applying a color developing agent on the surface of the base paper face each coated side, and the surface of the upper paper is written and pressure printed with a typewriter etc. A color image can be obtained on paper. If a large number of copies are desired, the necessary number of medium sheets, each coated with the above-described developer on the front surface of the base paper and the microcapsules on the back surface, are inserted between the upper paper and the lower paper as many as necessary. One copy can be obtained. Further, as a kind of pressure-sensitive copying paper, there is a so-called single pressure-sensitive recording sheet formed by laminating or mixing the above-mentioned microcapsules and a color developer.

For example, there is a demand for pressure-sensitive copying paper having a paper surface subjected to embossing with an uneven shape. However, embossing is usually applied by passing a sheet between the nips of an embossed roll engraved on the roll surface, but embossing is used when the sheet is upper or medium paper coated with microcapsules. There is a problem that the quality of the pressure-sensitive copying paper is deteriorated, for example, the microcapsules are sometimes broken by the pressure of the roll, and the color-forming function of the microcapsules is reduced, and the color-forming stain is generated. Furthermore, when printing on the developer-coated surface of medium or lower paper (or the surface of upper paper) coated with a developer, the sharp edges (steps) formed by embossing process There is a problem that adhesion is poor and printing suitability is poor. Therefore, if embossing is performed after forming a pressure-sensitive copying paper by applying a microcapsule or a color developer, the pressure-sensitive copying paper can be reduced in the color-forming function due to the destruction of the microcapsules, in terms of color stain, and printability. It was not always satisfactory. In addition, this type of pressure-sensitive copy paper with a mold also has the following problems in its manufacturing method. That is,
The paper strength of the pressure-sensitive copying paper coated with a coating solution for forming the pressure-sensitive copying paper and dried is considerably reduced as compared with the base paper before applying the paint. For this reason, when embossing is performed on the pressure-sensitive copying paper after applying and drying the paint, there is a problem that holes and paper breakage are likely to occur, which impairs operability.

とする。(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive copying paper provided with embossing such as a pattern, a mark or a pattern having a concavo-convex shape. Even when multicolor printing is performed on the edge, the ink adheres well and the printability is excellent, and there is no cracking or breakage of the coating layer at the edge, so that there is no hole or paper break in the manufacturing process and the operability is stable. It is an object of the present invention to provide a type of pressure-sensitive copying paper having a shape.

The present invention is applicable to both an agent and a microcapsule applied to the back surface) and a base paper (an electron-accepting developer applied to the surface of a base paper). In the case of the upper paper, only a paper coated with a pigment coating liquid to enhance the printing effect on the surface (the surface on which the microcapsules are not applied) is a target.

It is to use the one provided with a mark or a pattern. 20% or less moisture content for base paper with less than 20% moisture content
Since the paper layer has elasticity as compared with the above-described base paper, the emboss effect is not excessively remarkable, and a proper emboss effect can be obtained. In addition, the base paper embossed under such conditions has a characteristic that holes and scratches are hardly generated, and accordingly, there is little invention of paper breakage and extremely stable operation can be ensured.

By the way, when the linear pressure is 10 kg / cm or less, the uneven shape given to the base paper disappears at the stage of applying the paint for forming the pressure-sensitive copying paper, and a sufficient molding effect cannot be obtained. . In addition, when the linear pressure is 400 kg / cm or more, holes or scratches are given to the base paper to lower the quality of the pressure-sensitive copying paper. This would have an adverse effect.

Embossed pressure-sensitive copy paper can be obtained without breaking the microcapsules, and the edge of the pressure-sensitive copy paper coated with a developer can be smoothed and printed. In this case, there is no problem that the ink adheres well to the edge portion and the printability is poor.
