Description: TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a method for producing a plate-shaped resin pen nib capable of double-sided writing. (Prior art and its problems) In recent years, due to the fact that fountain pens are relatively expensive, a writing instrument using a synthetic resin nib has advantages such as good writing quality and ease of molding. Therefore, it is in the spotlight. In particular, the flat nib shape further enhances the flexibility of the synthetic resin itself, providing an extremely soft touch writing effect not seen with conventional fountain pens with metallic nibs. The writing instrument making the most of this advantage has already been commercialized by the applicant. The so-called extrusion molding method is used in the manufacture of this type of pen nib, and polishing means using a grindstone or the like is adopted to form the actual pen nib shape, and the pen is the most important part. The writing surface described above is also created by this polishing means. However, subsequent research revealed that such a manufacturing method had the following disadvantages. That is, as described above, since the writing surface of the pen tip is created by the polishing means using a grindstone or the like, the polishing powder generated at the time of polishing is provided in the ink passage penetrating inside the pen tip and opening to the writing surface. Or the synthetic resin is melted by frictional heat generated during polishing, resulting in disordered pattern shape.
The ink passage itself may be blocked, which may result in defective ink ejection. In addition, there is a problem in maintenance due to wear deterioration of the whetstone, etc. There is also a concern about the problem of appearance and the problem of appearance. (Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention has been made based on the above-mentioned findings, and in a method for producing a flat plate-shaped resin pen nib having an ink passage penetrating with an appropriate pattern inside, the resin is a polyacetal resin. Therefore, the conventional inconveniences are solved all at once by using the method of manufacturing a flat plate resin pen nib, which is characterized in that the writing surface of the pen nib is formed by cutting. (Function) According to the present invention, since the writing surface of the flat resin pen tip is formed by cutting, in other words, the cutting surface is applied as it is as a writing surface. There is no risk of clogging of the ink passages or clogging of the ink passages due to frictional heat during polishing, and problems related to maintenance and polishing burrs are eliminated. It can be provided by the resin nib, and the intended purpose can be achieved. (Example) Hereinafter, this will be described in detail based on an example. In the accompanying drawings, reference numeral 1 is a material for a long-sized extruded product which is extruded from a die having an appropriate cross-sectional shape and later becomes a flat resin pen tip. This resin nib material 1 is
An ink passage 2 made of polyacetal resin and having an appropriate cross-sectional pattern is formed through the inside thereof. The resin nib material 1 will be described below by coating a coating layer portion around a rod having an ink passage. A flat plate may be used, or a known material such as a resin pen nib material entirely made of a self-fusing material of a plurality of filaments and a flat plate may be used. still,
As the material of the resin pen nib material 1, a polyacetal resin that is less likely to wear and has good slippage is preferable among various synthetic resins. Thus, the resin nib material 1 is cut laterally (in the direction of the arrow in the drawing) by a cutter or press or the like that has been trimmed in advance to cut it into a desired nib shape. It becomes the pen tip 3 (shown by the broken line in FIG. 1). At this time, the writing surface 4 on the flat resin tip 3
Since the cut surface by the cutter is directly applied as the writing surface, the intended purpose is achieved as described above. If not only the front portion of the plate-shaped resin nib 3 but also the rear portion of the flat resin nib 3 are cut into the same shape as the front portion by a cutter or the like at the same time as in the above embodiment, various adverse effects that occur during polishing can be avoided, and ink induction There is no fear of interfering with the connection with the members, and further, when the pen tip 3 is incorporated into the writing instrument, there is no directionality of the pen tip 3, so it can be expected to improve the work efficiency when assembling the writing instrument. is there. Incidentally, the writing surface 4 of the plate-shaped resin nib 3 may have its width adjusted by cutting both ends A and B as shown by the broken line in FIG. 2, if necessary. There is no problem in processing by polishing means other than cutting with a cutter, and the point is that it is not necessary to use polishing means even at the part that becomes the writing surface. The writing surface 4 is preferably formed in a curved shape as shown in FIG.
Good results are obtained in terms of writing quality. (Effects of the Invention) As described in detail above, the present invention provides a method for producing a plate-shaped resin pen nib having an ink passage penetrating with an appropriate pattern inside, wherein the resin is a polyacetal resin, and Since the writing surface is formed as a smooth surface by cutting, not to mention that it has an advantage as a flat resin tip, and the writing surface can be obtained as a smooth surface without impairing the writing feeling. Further, various inconveniences caused by polishing the writing surface as in the conventional art are eliminated, and thus excellent effects are exhibited in various points such as better ink dischargeability.
