いう欠点があり、これらの方法から得られるスイッチ用
部材はいずれの場合も比較的小さな細かい形状の透

と、前記ゴム基材及び透光性塗膜の表面を被覆して設け
られた遮光性着色塗膜と、前記透光性塗膜上の遮光性
着色塗膜に設けられた、任意の文字または図形の形など

高品質の抜き型透光部を有するスイッチ用部材得られ
ることを確認して本発明を完成させた。 【0007】本発明で用いられるゴム基材自体は透明も
しくは半透明のゴム材料からなるものである限り公知の
方法で得られたものとすればよく、したがってこれはド
ーム部が逆椀状の弾性ゴムロッドとされたエラスティッ
ク性のものとされ、このものは天然ゴムまたはポリブタ
ジエン、ポリイソプレン、SBR、ネオプレンなどのジ
エン系合成ゴム、エチレン−プロピレン系、ウレタン
系、シリコーン系などの合成ゴムあるいはこれらの組み
合せから作られたものとすればよいが、これは透光部
が透明または半透明とされるので、透明性がよく、耐熱
性、耐候性、電気絶縁性にもすぐれているシリコーン系
ゴム製とすることがよい。 【0008】また、このゴム基材は全体を絶縁性とした
もの、全体を導電性としたもののいずれであってもよい
が、通常は接点部を導電性とし、ドーム部を絶縁性とし
たものとされる。なお、これらは圧縮成形、射出成形、
トランスファー成形など公知の方法により成形されたも
のとすればよい。 【0009】本発明のスイッチ用部材では、この従来公
知の方法で得られたゴム基材の、特にはキートップ部の
表面接着性をもつ透明または薄着色した塗料
光性の塗膜もしくは層を形成し、さらにこの上に接着性
をもつ着色された塗料を塗布し、必要に応じ加熱して
硬化させ、遮光性着色塗膜を形成する。ここに使用され
る透明または薄着色した塗料はゴム基材と接着する必
要があるので、このゴム基材がシリコーン系ゴムからな
る場合にはシリコーン系ゴムからなるものとすればよ
く、他種のものとする場合にはシリコーン系シーラン
ト、プライマーなどを塗布しておくことがよいが、これ
にはえば特開昭58−8642号公報「シリコーン成形
体」に示される方法などをいればよい。 【0010】また最後に設けられる遮光性着色塗膜に用
いられる着色塗料は前述の透明または薄く着色した塗料
と基本的には同一のものでよい。遮光性着色塗膜はキー
トップ部面上のみの塗布ではなく、ドーム部、ベース部
を含めキートップ側全体に設ける。しかしながら、この
遮光性着色塗膜は透光性塗膜とは区別されるべきもので
あるから、遮光性の強いものとする必要があり、したが
って着色剤の混入で着色されたものとすればよい。な

いる。またレーザー光を照射して遮光性着色塗膜6を抜
