(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】 ターミナルの収容通路を内部に設けた筒
状部の外側にはスカート部が形成され、そのスカート部
の奥側において前記筒状部の外周に巻装されたシール部
材を、前記スカート部内に嵌合された相手のコネクタと
の間に介在させることでシールが施されるとともに、前
記収容通路に後方から挿入されたターミナルは、その収
容通路に設けられた撓み変形可能な弾性腕により抜け止
め状態で係止され、かつ前記筒状部の前方から装着され
る固定部材を弾性腕の撓み変形領域に位置させることで
ターミナルの二重係止を行うようにした防水コネクタに
おいて、 前記筒状部の側壁には、前記収容通路の軸線方向に沿っ
て後方外部に達する第1と第2のスリットが貫通して形
成されており、前記固定部材は、そこに設けられた第1
係止突起が前記第1スリットの前端部に係合すること
で、前記弾性腕の撓み変形領域の手前の位置で仮係止さ
れ、さらなる押し込みにより同固定部材に設けられた第
2係止突起が前記第2スリットの前端部に係合すること
で、前記撓み変形領域に進出した位置に本係止可能とな
っていることを特徴とする防水コネクタ。
