と相まって塵芥の堆積を防止し得られる。また、防砂堰
4によって土砂類は堰止められるので、スクリーン6の
目を通って取水室3内へ土砂が侵入するということもな
い。そして塵芥除けスクリーン6や取水室3内の清掃を
行う必要を生じたときは、水門7a,7bを閉止し導水溝2
内を排水して実施することができるので、保守管理上き
わめて便利である。
