いた。又磁気テープは両端が折り曲げられた状態で走行
するので磁気テープの端部は傷み易く安定した磁気テー
プ走行を得るのが極めて難しかった。

挿入量に応じて変化させているので、磁気テープ20と磁
気ヘッド28a〜28dとの接触状態を常時略均一に保つこと
ができ、常に安定した記録(又は再生)を行う事ができ
る。更に磁気テープ20の端部を大きく変形させる必要が
ないので磁気テープ20の安定した規制案内走行が可能と
なる。
