2. Description of the Related Art In a structure in which the surface of an output terminal of a circuit board, which is electrically connected to an external terminal of a liquid crystal panel, is arranged substantially perpendicularly, a thin bendable substrate is conventionally attached to the liquid crystal panel or the circuit board. They were joined by thermocompression bonding, soldering, etc., to achieve electrical continuity. Also, as shown in FIG. 5, a thin conductive rubber 3a is adhered to an arc portion of a foam material 3d having a substantially 1/4 circular cross section,
There is also a structure in which terminal portions of the liquid crystal panel 1 and the circuit board 2 are pressed in the direction of the center of the circle to establish electrical conduction.

However, in the conventional method using a bendable thin board, it takes time to join the thin board to a liquid crystal panel or a circuit board, and it is difficult to disassemble the board and the joint surface is difficult. There was a major problem that a large area was required. Further, in the structure as shown in FIG. 5, the connector bends the thin conductive rubber 3a and joins it to the foam material 3d. Therefore, the parts after joining have a large warp, and there is a problem in assemblability. Also, for the same reason, it is difficult to increase the thickness of the conductive rubber part in processing, and it is not possible to reduce the electric conduction resistance between the liquid crystal panel and the circuit board. In some cases, it could not be used for LCD panels. Further, since the liquid crystal panel 1b and the connector 3a shown in FIG. 5 easily interfere with each other at the time of assembling and cause conduction failure, it is necessary to make the length of the terminal portion of the liquid crystal panel sufficiently larger than the height of the connector. There were also problems such as poor space efficiency.

The electric connection structure of the liquid crystal panel according to the present invention comprises a conventional liquid crystal panel, a conductive member (conductive rubber or the like) and an insulating member, which are used when the corresponding circuit boards are arranged in parallel, are alternately arranged. Using a conductive member (zebra-type connector) that has been joined, and using a connector with an insulating elastic member that is lower in hardness than the conductive member on one surface, the connector is connected to the joint surface by a liquid crystal panel and a circuit board. And pressed in parallel and perpendicular directions to establish electrical continuity.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a sectional view of one embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, 1 is a liquid crystal panel, 1a is an electrode terminal surface of the liquid crystal panel, 2 is a circuit board, and 2a is a surface having a signal output terminal for driving the liquid crystal panel. Reference numeral 3 indicated by a two-dot chain line indicates a connector shape before assembling the liquid crystal panel and the circuit board. 3a is a conductive member of the connector, and 3b is an insulating elastic member.
In this embodiment, the connector 3 is bent in the shape of a two-dot chain line along the inclined surface 4a of the frame 4, and is pressed in the vertical direction against the joint surface 3c of the connector by assembling the circuit board 2,
Mainly, the elastic member 3b of the connector is deformed to have a connector shape as shown by a solid line, and a stable contact pressure is applied to the contact portion between the circuit board and the connector. Further, the liquid crystal panel 1 is pressed by the panel presser 5 and compressed in a direction parallel to the joint surface 3c of the connector 3, so that electrical continuity between the circuit board and the liquid crystal panel is obtained. The contact pressure applied to the portion 2a of the circuit board can be freely set by changing the hardness of the elastic member and the shape and height of the portion 4a of the frame. Further, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, it is easy to arrange the position of the substrate outside the liquid crystal panel. Furthermore, the connector can be easily deformed by pressure in the direction perpendicular to the joint surface 3c by means such as making the shape of the elastic member of the connector as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 or making the portion 4a convex. And a stable contact pressure can be obtained.

Further, the thickness of the conductive portion of the connector can be changed in accordance with the current flowing through the liquid crystal panel, so that the present invention can be used for a large panel or a liquid crystal panel in which a large amount of high duty driving current flows. Also, the area of the terminal portion of the liquid crystal panel may be the same as in the case of using a zebra type connector in which the surface formed by the conventional liquid crystal panel and the circuit board is parallel, and the space efficiency is good.
