ある。そして、3台の搬機8を使用した場合の各工程に
おける作業状況は第3図(a)に示すダイヤグラムのよ
うになる。すなわち、1号機が粗紡工程で搬出作業を行
なった場合には、精紡工程では搬入作業を行い残粗糸処
理工程では搬出作業を行う。1号機の後を走行する2号
機は粗紡工程で搬入作業を行い、精紡工程では搬出作業
を、そして残粗糸処理工程では搬入作業を行う。また、
2号機の後を走行する3号機は粗紡工程で搬出作業を、
精紡工程で搬入作業を、残粗糸処理工程で搬出作業を行
う。すなわち各搬機8は搬出、搬入作業を各工程毎に交
互に行いながら主搬送レール3に沿って走行する。主搬
送レール3上を走行する搬機8の数がこのように3台あ
るいは奇数台の場合には各工程における搬出、搬入作業
が交互に行われるため問題はないが、搬送能力等の関係
で搬機8の台数を4台(あるいは偶数台)とした場合に
は、第3図(b)に示すように4号機及び1号機の各工
程における作業の種類が同じとなる。粗紡工程及び精紡
工程には複数台の機台が配設されているため同一作業を
行う場合でも問題はないが、残粗糸処理工程に残粗糸処
理装置11が1台のみ配設されている場合、残粗糸処理用
レール6が従来装置と同様な構成では搬入あるいは搬出
作業が連続する事態が生じるとシステムの運転が不能と
なる。ところが、この装置では残粗糸処理用レール6に
搬送体7の搬入及び残粗糸処理作業に支障とならない位
置に搬出・待機レール6bが分岐して設けられているた
め、搬入作業あるいは搬出作業が連続する場合にも搬機
8は当該作業を必ず行うことが可能となる。すなわち、
搬入作業が連続する場合には、搬機8は前に搬入された
搬送体7が残粗糸処理装置11による処理作業完了後搬出
・待機レール6b内に送り込まれた後に搬入作業を行えば
よく、搬出作業が連続する場合では、直前に搬入された
搬送体7が残粗糸処理装置11による残粗糸処理作用を受
けた後搬出・待機レール6b内に送り込まれるのを待って
当該搬送体7を搬出すればよい。

機8は第4図(b)に示すように搬送体7の最後部が搬
入用口9と主搬送レール3との分岐部を通過した位置で
停止し、その後後退することにより第4図第4図(c)
に示すように搬送体7を搬入・作業レール6a内に搬入す
る。そして、搬送体7と連結体8aとの連結が切離された
後、第4図(d)に示すように以前に残粗糸処理用レー
ル6内に搬入されて残粗糸処理が完了して搬出・待機レ
ール6b内で待機する搬送体7を搬出するため搬出用口10
を過ぎた位置まで移動する。次に、第4図(e)に示す
ように連結体8aが前記搬送体7に連結される位置まで後
退し、連結体8aと搬送体7の連結完了後前進移動してボ
ビンが吊下された搬送体7を粗紡工程へと搬送する。搬
出・待機レール6b内から搬送体7が搬出された後、残粗
糸処理装置11及び搬送体送り装置12が作動されて第4図
(f)に示すように搬入・作業レール6a内に搬入された
搬送体7の残粗糸処理が開始される。そして、残粗糸処
理中に搬送体7を牽引して残粗糸処理工程に到着した搬
機8は第4図(f)に示すように残粗糸処理が完了する
まで待機し、その後前記と同様にして搬送体7の搬入、
以前に搬入された搬送体7の搬出作業を行う。即ち、こ
の実施例の装置では前記実施例と異なり残粗糸処理が完
了した搬送体7を改めて搬送体送り装置12の作動により
搬出・待機レール6b内へと送り込むという作業が不要と
なる。

が待機中に残粗糸処理を行うことができるようにしても

糸処理用レール等の分岐レールの主搬送レールからの分
岐部は全て同じ構成で、かつアクチュエータを使用しな
い簡単な構成で、主搬送レール上を前進走行する搬機及
び搬送体の走行に支障を来たさず、搬送体の後退時に搬
送体を分岐レール内へ案内できるため、主搬送レールに
分岐部が複数存在しても異なる構成の分岐レールを準備
する必要がなく、搬送レールの製造コストを低減でき
る。

行う粗糸搬送システムにおいて、 精紡工程と粗紡工程との間に主搬送レールから分岐され
た分岐レールとして残粗糸処理用レールを設け、該残粗
糸処理用レールには主搬送レールからの分岐部として搬
送体搬入用口と搬送体搬出用口とを別個に設け、かつ前
記残粗糸処理用レールには該レールに設けられた残粗糸
処理装置による残粗糸処理後の空ボビンを吊下した搬送
体が前記搬出用口から搬出可能な位置でかつ前記搬入用
口からの搬送体の搬入に支障を来たさない状態で待機可
能な待機部を設け、前記各分岐レールは主搬送レールと
の分岐部において前記搬機の前進方向と反対側に延びる
ように配設されるとともに、該分岐部には、搬送体が搬
機の前進方向と反対側へ移動する際に搬送体を分岐レー
ル内に誘導する位置側へ常に付勢され、搬機及び搬送体
が主搬送レール上を搬機の前進方向へ移動する際にはそ
の通過を許容する切換レバーが配設されている粗糸搬送
システムにおける搬送レール。
