その材質は樹脂の他ガラス繊維等の複合樹脂、金属や陶
材等を用いることもでき、強度的に優れた材質を選択す
ることにより義歯床の補強効果も得ることができる。ま
たひけ防止材の取り付け手段は第2実施例を選択すれば
よく、また人工歯に孔をあけ適宜な材質からなるピンを
用いてひけ防止材を人工歯に取り付けてもよく、さらに
取り付け手段の他の例として、ひけ防止材を空洞内の適
所に載置するだけでもよい。またこれらの取り付け手段
によれば人工歯も陶材製等の樹脂以外のものに適用でき
る。義歯床の材質としてはポリサルフォン樹脂、フッ素
樹脂、アクリル樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、ポリアミ
ド樹脂、スチロール樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、ポリアセ
タール樹脂等の高分子樹脂が好ましいが、これに限定さ
れるものではない。また有床義歯は上顎総義歯のものを
図示したが、下顎総義歯から局部床義歯等あらゆる形態
のものに適用できる。またひけ防止材を人工歯や石膏型
に固定する箇所数はひけ防止材の長さに応じて選定すれ
ばよい。また義歯床の成形法は射出成形法、トランスフ
ァ成形法の他、シート状の熱可塑性樹脂を遠赤外線等で
加熱しながら重ね合わせ、これを上下石膏型で圧縮して
成形する圧縮成形法、あるい加熱重合レジンにも適用す
ることができる。これらの成形法は射出成形法、トラン
スファ成形法に比べて保圧を加え易い分ひけの発生が少
ないものの本考案を適用することによって、一層ひけの
問題を解消できる。また各成形法において本考案を適用
することにより、歯槽堤部と口蓋部との成形厚み寸法差
が小さくなるので樹脂の成形収縮のばらつきも少なくな
りひけを抑制できるとともに、空洞へ充填される樹脂量
も少なくなり成形上有利である。
