(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】各稜辺部が主切刃とされた略三角形状のチ
ップをカッタ本体の先端外周側に設けたスローアウェイ
式カッタにおいて、上記チップが、外周側の上記主切刃
から上記カッタ本体の内方に向かってコーナ刃と副切刃
と内逃げ刃とを順次設けてなり、この内逃げ刃を、上記
副切刃よりも所定角度傾斜して上記カッタ本体の軸線に
沿って基端側に配置したことを特徴とするスローアウェ
イ式カッタ。

チップの副切刃よりも上記カッタ本体の先端側に突出さ
せかつ上記カッタ本体の内方に向かって長く延出させて
設けたことを特徴とするスローアウェイ式カッタ。
