収縮チュ−ブが使用される場所の殆どは、熱源の使用が
禁止されている所であり、上記の理由で、常温収縮チュ
−ブの適用ができない場所では、代わりに、ゴムテ−プ
等を被冠体に巻き付けて、応急的な処置を施していた
が、巻き付け作業が面倒である上に、処理後の品質に対
する信頼性及び商品価値に影響を与える美観性に劣ると
いう重大な問題点があり、現状よりも長い常温収縮チュ
−ブの出現が強く要望されていた。2.
