テンション輪の横側箇所に、排土用の円盤スクレーパを
傾斜姿勢で設けるとともに、この円盤スクレーパをテン
ション輪で回転駆動するように構成し、もってクローラ
ベルトの内周面に載って後方に移送されてくる土を、傾
斜姿勢で回転する円盤スクレーパで掻き寄せてクローラ
ベルトの横外側に排出することで大きい土塊への成長を
未然に回避するものが提案されている。上記提案手段は
円盤スクレーパを強制駆動するので排土機能が高く、所
期の目的を充分に達成できるのであるが、多くの部品お
よび組付け工数を必要とするため高価につくきらいがあ
り、機体価格の低い小型機への適用が困難であった。そ
こで、小型機への適用が容易な簡単かつ安価な排土手段
として、図4に示すように、最後部に位置する接地転輪
4Aの外側部に、該接地転輪4Aと略同径の弾性筒14
を外向き片持ち状に取り付け、クローラベルト5の内周
面に載って後方に移送されてくる土塊を弾性筒14とク
ローラベルト5の間隙に導いて押し潰すとともに、弾性
筒14が押し潰し反力によって上方に弾性変形される際
に、変形した弾性筒14外面による横外側方への押し出
し分力によって押し潰した土塊を横外方に押し出す構造
のものが考えられた。

輪体4aの固定用座金を兼ねたカバー板8で輪体4aの
開口を閉塞してある。尚、図4に示すように、前記各輪
体4aの基部と前記ボス1aとの間には、ゴム製の弾性
リング9で支持された一対の金属製のシールリング10
を浮上摺接させたメカニカルシール11を介装するとと
もに、このメカニカルシール11の外周に存在する環状
間隙SをOリング12で封止して、この環状間隙Sにグ
リース等の潤滑油を貯留するように構成してある。

位することになり、クローラベルト5上の土を横外方に
