記録紙のスキューを補正するために記録紙にたるみを形成することが必要となる
。このたるみ量を適正に設定するためにレジストローラ5直前のレジストセンサ

過後に中間コロ2の駆動を停止することにより、所定のたるみ量を得ることがで
きるのであるが、レジストセンサ6や中間コロ2に駆動を伝えるクラッチ、ソレ
ノイドの動作のバラツキにより、記録紙のたるみ量は大きくばらつく。 第3図(b)は前記たるみ量が大きい方にばらついた場合を示し、この場合記
録紙Pの湾曲部外側がターンガイド4によって押圧されてA向に座屈し、突騒音
を生じたり、記録紙の白抜け発生の原因となる。 (考案の目的) 本考案は上記に鑑みてなされたものであり、記録紙の搬送経路内 に反転部が存する場合に、反転部の外側をガイドするターンガイドに突き当たっ
た記録紙が内側方向に座屈することによって、異音や転写不良等の不具合を生じ
ることを防止することができる記録紙の搬送機構を提供することを目的としてい
る。 (考案の構成) 上記目的を達成するため、本考案は、感光体上の画像を記録紙上に転写する転
写部の手前に配置したレジストローラに向けて記録紙を給紙する搬送コロと、こ
の搬送コロとレジストローラとの間に位置する経路に湾曲部を有する搬送経路と
を備え、前記レジストローラにより停止した記録紙が該湾曲部にてたるみを生ず
る、画像形成装置の記録紙の搬送機構において、前記湾曲部の外側に搬送路の幅
を保持するように位置する外側ターンガイドの少なくとも一部を、記録紙からの
押圧力により弾性変形する弾性部材で構成することを提案する。さらに、本考案
は、上記目的を有利に達成するため、前記弾性部材の前面に低摩擦抵抗部材を配
