る。 第1図では太糸用手編機のキャリッジ1の一部切欠平

たキャリッジ台板2の裏面には、前方休針通路3を前方
に形成する前方隔壁4,後方休針通路5を後方に形成する
後方隔壁6、左右の主カム7、これら主カム7の内側に
位置する2位置切換可能な左右の切換案内カム8、外側
に位置する3位置切り換え可能な左右の切換カム9、左
右両端の端カム(サイドカム)10、左右の開閉カム11が
設けられ、また前方隔壁4の中央に選針用の山形カム12
が一体に設けられている。さらに、キャリッジ台板2に
は、山形カム12の後方においてこれらと対向する下面横
長六角形の選別カム13が前後動可能に装着され、これら
の編針14を1本ずつ前後に選別するための短い選別通路
15が形成される。また、キャリッジ台板2には、この選
別通路15の左右側方に左右の振分カム16、さらにこれと
一体に左右の案内カム17が連続して設けられている。後
方隔壁6の左右両端には、キャリッジ台板2の左右両端
から一部分が突出する左右の端カム18が一体に設けられ

形のキャップ20が回転不能に冠着されている。キャップ

前後作動板17は図示省略したバネによって前方へ付勢さ
れている。この付勢によって選別カム13は通常は第2図
鎖線で示す前位置に保持される。前後作動板17の左右両
側においてキャリッジ台板2に左右一対の電磁石18が固
定され、編針14は前述した実開平2−131585号公報に記
載のものと同様に前後に選別(選針)される。 すなわち、編針バット19が選別カム13をバネに抗して
後退させながら山形カム12の一方の斜面に沿って選別通
路15に入ったとき、電磁石18がオンとなると、選別カム
13がその後退した位置に保持されるため、編針バット19
は第1図に示すように後方の編成通路aへ誘導される。
一方、選別通路15に入ったとき電磁石18がオフであれ
ば、編針バット19は、選別カム13がバネによって前方へ
復帰移動するに伴い、該選別カム13によって前方へ押動
されて山形カム12の他方の斜面に沿って前方編成通路b
へ誘導される。 上記のように構成された電磁選針部の選針位置,つま
り短い選別通路15と対向する前方位置に、糸口22が、キ
ャリッジ台板2又はそれに取り付けられる糸口体に設け
られ、編糸23はこの糸口22に糸入れ溝24を通じて挿通さ
れる。また、この糸口22のやや前方の近傍において編糸
挿通孔25が設けられ、編糸23は糸口22を経由してさらに
該編糸挿通孔25にも挿通される。 この編糸挿通孔25の脇には、それに連続する鞘状部26
が設けられ、該鞘状部26内にスプール状の編糸感知部材
27が左右揺動自在に嵌装されている。この編糸感知部材
27はコイル状のバネ28によって編糸挿通孔25側へ前進付
勢され、編糸挿通孔25に編糸23が挿通していないとき
は、この編糸感知部材28の先端が第2図に示すように編
糸挿通孔25を貫通している編糸案内棒29に圧接する。鞘
状部26の外側には、該鞘状部26のスリット30を通じて編
糸感知部材28の突部32により作動される電気的なスイッ
チ33が設けられている。 糸口22を経由した編糸23が編糸挿通孔25を挿通してい
るときには、第1図に示すようにその編糸23が編糸挿通
孔25内で編糸感知部材27と編糸案内棒29とに挟まれた状
態となり、編糸感知部材27が編糸23の太さ分だけ後退
し、スイッチ30が該編糸感知部材28の突部32により押さ
れてオン(又はオフ)となる。編糸23が切断して編糸挿
通孔25が抜出すると、編糸感知部材27が編糸案内棒29に
圧接するところまで前進復帰するため、編糸感知部材27
の突部31がスイッチ32から外れ、該スイッチ32がオフ
(又はオン)になる。このようにスイッチ32が切り換わ
ることにより、編糸23の切断が電気的に検知され、電磁
石18がオフ状態に拘束されるとともに、ブザーやランプ
等の報知手段によって糸切れが報知される。
