(Means for Solving the Problems) That is, in a flat knitting machine in which a large number of needles are arranged in parallel on a pair of beds, each needle on the bed is made to correspond to the needles on the other bed. The flat knitting machine is characterized in that a stop member is provided close to each needle facing the needles on the other bed. In the foregoing, each needle on the bed has an associated stop located on the other bed, one for each needle. Further, the aforementioned stop member is provided through a comb body attached to the bed.

(Function) During the movement of the needle, the stopping member serves to hold the stitches in a predetermined position.
Complete release of the needle tongue. This results in complete stitch interlocking during the next cycle of the machine, ensuring the correct position of many stitches in line with their theoretical position, independent of stitch tension. .

(Example) Examples of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a partial sectional view of a flat knitting machine equipped with the improved device of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a view taken along arrow A in FIG. In the figure, 1 and 2 are beds, 3 and 4 are needles installed on the beds 1 and 2, 3 is a front needle, and 4 is a rear needle. In the state shown in FIG. 1, the front needle 3 is inactive, while the rear needle 4 related to the cut is raised, and the rear needle 4 is in a unique position. In this state, the stitch T of the knitted fabric is separated from the tip of the rear needle 4, opening the tip of the tongue 5.

The main improvement is that stop members 6, 6 are arranged in correspondence with each of the rear needles 4, and the stop members 6, 6 allow the stitches to be released. The stop member 6 can be called a free sinker.

One stopper member 6 is provided for each of the rear needles 4, 4 of the bed 2. Further, even if one of the front needles 3, 3 moving on the bed 1 is combined, another stopping member 7, 7 is provided on the bed 2. There is thus the peculiarity that the stop members 6, 7 are each provided on a bed opposite to that of the associated needle.

In other words, when the machine operates only with the rear needle 4 on the rear bed 2, the stopper 6 provided on the front bed 1 contributes to the release of the stitch, and conversely, when only the front needle 3 operates. is the rear bed 2
The stopper member 7 provided at the top contributes to the release of the stitch. If the machine operates with both the front needle 3 and the rear needle 4, both stops 6, 7 are activated.

In FIG. 2 it can be seen in detail how each of the stop members 6 enters into an imaginary longitudinal section near the opposing needle N. In this movement of the needle N, the needle approaches the opposing stop member 6 and moves back to A-

In this way, the stop element abandons the latch 5 in the free basic position, ensuring the best possible operation of the machine, independent of the yarn texture and other properties of the knit, and ensuring that the stitch does not catch on the tip of the lug 5. can be avoided.

In accordance with the implementation of this improvement, the stop members 6, 7 are welded to a long comb body 8, which is fixed on the beds 1, 2 with screws 9. Even when all the combs are attached, there still remains a small space between each comb, allowing the machine's gauge to pass through.

(Effects of the Invention) That is, according to the present invention, a stop member is disposed facing each of a large number of needles arranged in parallel, so that the stitches can be held in a predetermined position when the needles are moved. It has the effect of completely eliminating the release, and it is possible to obtain a perfect fabric with no dropped stitches.
