Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a structure for mounting an accessory such as a surge suppressor to an electromagnetic contactor, and particularly to simplifying a mold structure and after mounting on a panel. Relates to an electromagnetic contactor having an engaging portion suitable for facilitating attachment and detachment of accessories. A conventional mounting structure of a surge suppressor to an electromagnetic contactor is as described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-29954.
The surge suppressor was placed on the bottom of the main body of the electromagnetic contactor and shared with the electromagnetic contactor by sharing the contactor mounting screws. Further, regarding the mounting of the surge suppressor to the contactors having different mounting dimensions, as described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 52-17730, mounting was performed integrally with the electromagnetic contactor. Further, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 61-4333 discloses a structure in which a square hole is formed in a side surface of an electromagnetic contactor and an accessory is engaged with the square hole. In the above-mentioned prior art, no special space is required for mounting the surge suppressor, but the surge suppressor is superposed on the bottom surface of the electromagnetic contactor and is the same as the contactor mounting screw. Since it is mounted with screws, the height of the contactor after mounting is high, and mounting the two bodies at the same time poses a problem in mounting workability, and also mounts the surge suppressor after mounting the electromagnetic contactor on the control panel, etc. If the surge suppressor is attached in advance, or if the previously installed surge suppressor is removed after mounting on the panel, the contactor body is also removed, and it takes a lot of time to attach and detach the surge suppressor. Also, since it is necessary to align the mounting hole of the electromagnetic contactor with the mounting hole of the surge suppressor, it is necessary to make the external shape almost the same as the bottom surface of the applicable electromagnetic contactor, and it is not possible to reduce the size of the surge suppressor alone. However, in order to apply it to contactors with different mounting dimensions, there is a problem that it is difficult to share it, such as requiring separate parts. Also, in order to open a square hole on the side surface, it is necessary to move the mold in a direction perpendicular to this side surface,
There is a problem that the mold structure becomes complicated. An object of the present invention is to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks, simplify the mold structure, and easily attach and detach accessories such as surge suppressors even after mounting on a control panel or the like, and downsize the accessories. , To provide an electromagnetic contactor that can be shared. The above-mentioned object is to detachably fix an accessory, which has an element that exerts a predetermined action with respect to the operation of the electromagnetic contactor, in a case, to the side surface of the casing of the electromagnetic contactor. In the electromagnetic contactor configured as described above, a recess is formed in the housing in the vicinity of the bottom surface of the side surface, and has a continuous opening in the direction from the side surface toward the accessory and in the direction toward the bottom surface, and a pair formed in the recess. A first engaging portion and a protruding portion provided so as to protrude from a side surface, and a pair of second engaging members elastically engaged with the first engaging portion formed in the accessory device so as to protrude from the case. A direction in which the engagement portion and the engagement portion provided on the case and engaged with the protrusion are provided, and the engagement portion is orthogonal to the bottom surface of the case when the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are engaged. It is achieved by configuring to regulate the movement of the. The recess formed in the housing in the vicinity of the bottom of the side surface and having continuous openings in the direction from the side surface to the accessory and in the direction toward the bottom surface can be achieved only by moving the mold in the direction parallel to the side surface. Since it can be formed, the structure of the mold is simplified. Since the accessories such as the surge suppressor are not integrally attached to the bottom surface of the electromagnetic contactor with the contactor attachment screws, they are separately attached to the side surface of the outer frame, so that the attachment of the contactor and the attachment of the accessories are performed separately. it can. Further, since the outer shape of the accessory does not depend on the outer shape of the bottom surface of the contactor or the mounting dimension, the accessory can be shared for electromagnetic contactors having different mounting dimensions and the accessory can be easily downsized. Also, since the surge suppressor is fixed to the contactor without screws by elastically deforming the elastic tongue and engaging and engaging the engaging claw with the engaging protrusion, it is possible to elastically deform the tongue even when detaching. The engagement can be released, the surge suppressor can be easily attached and detached, and the mounting workability is improved. Further, since the first engaging portion is formed on the side surface of the electromagnetic contactor and the accessory is engaged and fixed to the first engaging portion from the direction toward the side surface of the electromagnetic contactor, a control panel for the electromagnetic contactor, etc. It is easy to attach and detach accessories even after attaching. Since the locking portion provided on the case and locked to the protruding portion restricts the movement in the direction orthogonal to the bottom surface of the case when the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are engaged, Even if the side opening is continuous in the direction from the side surface to the bottom surface, the accessory can be prevented from falling off. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. In this embodiment, the accessory 1 is a surge suppressor in which circuit components are housed in the case 2, and the second engaging portion 3 is
Engaging claw 4 protruding outward with a slope 4'on the A-direction surface at the tip
The case 2 using an elastic tongue having a plastic resin
Two pieces are formed integrally with the case 1 on one surface. 5 is
Like the tongue piece 3, the tongue piece 3 is integrally formed with the case 2 by a retaining projection provided on the upper portion of the mounting surface of the tongue piece 3 of the case 2 as a locking portion. Reference numeral 6 is a lead wire electrically connected to the circuit component of the surge suppressor 1. On the other hand, 9 is a concave portion which is a first engaging portion provided on the upper surface of the lower outer frame 10 of the electromagnetic contactor 7 and has continuous openings on the bottom surface and the side surface. On both sides of the inner surface of the concave portion, engaging projections 11 are provided on the inside corresponding to the tongue piece 3 and having an inclined surface 11 'on the A'direction surface. Further, the outer frame 10
In the concave portion 9 forming portion, the mounting convex surface 12 of the surge suppressor 1 is provided as a protruding portion. The dimensional relationships of l 1 , l 2 , l 3 , l 4 , l 5 , l 6 shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 6 are l 2 corresponding to l 1 , l 4 , l 6 respectively. , L 3 and l 5, which are slightly smaller, l 1 <l 2 , l 4 <l 3 and l 6 <l 5 . In such a structure, as shown by the solid line in FIG. 6, when the tongue piece 3 of the surge suppressor 1 is inserted into the recess 9 of the outer frame 10 and further pressed in the direction of arrow A, the tongue piece 3 is removed. Elastically deformed inward along the slopes 4'and 11 ', the engaging claw 4 rides over the engaging projection 11, and thereafter the claw 4 and the projection 11 engage with each other as shown in FIG. Further, at this time, as shown in FIG. 4, the retainer protrusion 5 of the case 2 engages with the upper surface of the mounting protrusion surface 12 provided on the outer frame 10, so that the surge suppressor cannot be pulled out downward. In this way, the surge suppressor 1 is fixed to the electromagnetic contactor 7. Then, by connecting the lead wire 6 to the coil terminal 8 as shown in FIG. 8, the surge voltage when the exciting coil of the electromagnetic contactor 7 is deenergized can be suppressed. On the other hand, when removing the surge suppressor, after removing the lead wire 6 from the coil terminal 8,
As shown by the chain line, the surge suppressor 1 is pressed in the direction of arrow B to elastically deform one of the tongues 3 and the claw 4 of the other tongue 3 is pressed.
By releasing the engagement between the protrusion 11 and the protrusion 11 and then rotating the protrusion 11 in the direction of the arrow B ′, the engagement between the one claw 4 and the protrusion 11 is released, and the surge suppressor 1 can be removed. According to this embodiment, since the tongue piece is integrally formed with the case made of the plastic resin, it is possible to provide a surge suppressor mounting structure which is easy to mount and dismount and which is inexpensive, without using a separate part. Further, since l 3 is made slightly larger than l 4 , the tongue piece 3 is slightly elastically deformed and is in a state of being attached by pressing the protrusion 11, so that the surge suppressor can be attached more firmly without backlash. . The accessory is not limited to the surge suppressor, but may be a display 14 incorporating a light emitting element 13 as shown in FIG. The light emitting element 13 may be an LED, a discharge lamp such as a neon tube, or a light bulb. Also,
The accessory may be one in which a control circuit for controlling the operation of the electromagnet is incorporated, or may be a power IC in which an operation control circuit for the electromagnet is incorporated. When connecting the lead wire of the accessory 1 to the connection terminal 8 on the surface opposite to the surface on which the accessory 1 is attached, as shown in FIG. 9, a lead having an opening on the side surface toward the bottom surface. The wire insertion hole 7a may be provided. FIG. 10 shows an example of the shape of the insertion hole 7a. With respect to the insertion hole 7a, the width l 7 of the end portion is l 7 > l 8 with respect to the width L 8 of the opening portion, and l 7 is the lead wire 6
Is external to equal to or slightly larger in, l 8 is made slightly smaller than the outer shape of the lead 6. Therefore, when the lead wire 6 is press-fitted, it is fixed in the insertion hole 7a.
1. As shown in FIG. 12, the lead wire 6 is held in the insertion hole 7a and does not approach the mounting leg 7b, so that the lead wire 6 may be pinched between the bottom surface of the electromagnetic contactor and the board during mounting. It can be prevented and has excellent workability in mounting. According to the above embodiment, the accessory can be mounted without increasing the mounting height of the electromagnetic contactor. Further, the shapes of the first and second engaging portions are not limited to those described above, and the second engaging portion is formed at the tip of the rod-shaped supporting member in the case 2 and divided by the slit. The spherical body may be used, and the first engaging portion may be a round hole formed on the side surface of the electromagnetic contactor. In addition, the first engaging portion is a pair of tongue pieces protruding from the side surface of the electromagnetic contactor, and the second engaging portion is a concave portion that is formed on the side surface of the case 2 and engages with the tongue piece. The tongue may hold the case. According to the present invention, the structure of the mold can be simplified, and the accessories can be easily attached and detached even after being attached to the control panel or the like, and the accessories can be downsized and shared. It is possible to obtain various electromagnetic contactors.
