容筐体のバツクボードに構成するコネクタのハウ
ジングの取付構造に係り、とくにプレスフイツト
(圧入)形のコンタクトピンを用いたコネクタの

取付構造を提供することを目的とするものであつ
て、この目的は、バツクボードに圧入保持された
多数のコンタクトピンが該バツクボードの両面に
突出され、該バツクボードのコンタクトピン圧入
領域にハウジングを装着してバツクボードにコネ
クタを構成するハウジング取付構造であつて、該
バツクボードの両端部をその両面から接して挟持
取着する一対のバツクボード取付金具とハウジン
グ取付金具とを具え、該ハウジング取付金具は側
面視コ字形であつて平行する両端面の一端面の端
部にバツクボード取付金具の回転防止爪挿入孔に
向けて突出する回転防止爪が形成されて挿入され
るとともに該端面によりバツクボード取付金具に
取着され、他端面に中央部の切欠きの両側に平行
するハウジング固定爪が形成されてなり、対向し
て取着された一対の上記ハウジング取付金具の切
欠き部にハウジングの両端部に形成された弾性を
有する被挟持部の爪部を挿入し、該爪部をハウジ
ング固定爪に係合させて取着するようにしたコネ
クタのハウジング取付構造、により達成される。
