に植立する藺草を収穫する藺草ハーベスタに関する。

【従来の技術】この種の藺草ハーベスタとしては、圃場
の藺草を分草装置でほぐし、引起し装置で引起し、刈取

ーベスタでは、刈り取り引き起こされた藺草の茎先側
が、茎先挟持搬送装置によって結束装置での結束箇所に
達するまでの間に、選別装置を構成するスグリ搬送帯が
藺草の株元側に作用して屑藺草を取り出すように構成さ
れているので、多量に発生する屑藺草を結束前に予め除
去した状態で以後の処理を効果的に行える点で有用なも
のである。しかしながら、前記選別装置によるすぐり作
用は、前記茎先挟持搬送装置による後方側への送り作用
と前記スグリ搬送帯による横側方への送り作用との相乗
作用によって生じるものであるため、前記の相乗的な送
り作用を生じる装置の一方側での保持がなくなると、そ
れ以上のすぐり作用が生じなくなる。このため従来の藺
草ハーベスタでは、前記茎先挟持搬送装置及び前記スグ
リ搬送帯の作用長さを充分に長く構成しておかないと、
すぐり作用によって掻き落とされようとする屑藺草が、
収穫すべき正規の長さの藺草から分離されないまま結束
等の後処理行程に送られてしまうという問題がある。ま
た、スグリ搬送帯の作用によって搬送途中で掻き落とさ
れる屑藺草についても、それがそのまま機体前部で滞留
・堆積してしまうと、機体前部に多量の屑藺草の滞留・
堆積部ができた状態となって、前記選別装置での藺草搬
送作用やすぐり選別作用、あるいは、機体前進走行作用
などに悪影響がでる虞がある。本発明の目的は、引き起
こし装置から受け渡された藺草を挟持搬送する茎先挟持
搬送装置との協働で屑藺草をすぐり選別する選別装置の
小型化を図り、すぐり選別性能を向上するとともに、す
ぐり選別後の屑藺草の滞留・堆積による悪影響を回避す
るようにした藺草ハーベスタを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
に講じた本発明の技術手段は、機体の進行に伴って圃場
の藺草を分草する分草装置と、分草処理された藺草を導
入しながら引起す引起し装置と、引起された圃場の藺草
の株元を切断する刈取装置と、刈取り対象藺草の茎先側
を挟持して選別装置の背部で上側部に配設した結束装置
へ送る茎先挟持搬送装置と、前記茎先挟持搬送装置で送
られる途中の藺草の株元側を、機体外方側へ向けて係止
搬送しながら、屑藺草をすぐり出す選別装置とを備えた
藺草ハーベスタであって、前記選別装置を、この選別装
置による藺草株元の搬送方向を前記茎先挟持搬送装置に
よる藺草茎先側の搬送方向とは交差する方向へ向かわせ
るように配設するとともに、前記選別装置を、上下に複
数個配設した藺草株元側を係止搬送する係止爪付きのス
グリ搬送帯と、そのスグリ搬送帯の終端で上下軸芯周り
に回転して屑藺草を挟持搬送して放出する上下に一定長
さを有せしめた一対のローラと、前記スグリ搬送帯及び
ローラの下方位置に配置し、ローラの下方の空間から屑
藺草を搬送放出すべく設けた係止爪付きの屑藺草放出用
搬送帯との組合せで構成してあることである。

【作用】上記の技術手段を講じたことによる作用は次の
通りである。
a.茎先挟持搬送装置による藺草の茎先側の搬送方向と
は交差する方向に選別装置による藺草株元の搬送方向を
設定してあるので、両装置の協働で搬送される途中の藺
草株元側に対してすぐり作用を与え、積極的に屑藺草の
除去を行うことができる。
b.そして、前記選別装置を、上下に複数個配設した藺
草株元側を係止搬送する係止爪付きのスグリ搬送帯と、
そのスグリ搬送帯の終端に上下軸芯周りに回転して屑藺
草を挟持搬送して放出する上下に一定長さを有せしめた
一対のローラとを設けて構成しているので、屑藺草がス
グリ搬送帯ですぐり作用を受けた後にも未だ正規長さの
藺草から分離されないうちに、スグリ搬送帯の搬送作用
範囲の終端に達したとしても、その未分離の屑藺草を一
対のローラの作用で確実に送り出し放出することができ
る。すなわち、一定長以上の正規の長さを有する藺草の
茎先部を挟持して搬送する茎先挟持搬送装置の搬送方向
と、スグリ搬送帯に引き続いて作用する一対のローラの
挟持搬送力の作用方向とが互いに離反する方向に作用す
ることにより、茎先側が挟持されている正規の藺草は茎
先挟持搬送装置により茎先を挟持されて前記一対のロー
ラ存在箇所から離れる方向へ、また、未分離の屑藺草は
一対のローラにより茎先挟持搬送装置から離れる方向へ
と、夫々挟持搬送され、これによって、未分離の屑藺草
が確実に正規の藺草から分離されて送り出し放出され
る。つまり、屑藺草が前記スグリ搬送帯の搬送作用範囲
の終端に達して、そのスグリ搬送帯による搬送作用が消
失しても、茎先挟持搬送装置と一対のローラの搬送力が
互いに離反する方向に作用して引き続いて未分離の屑藺
草を分離すべく搬送する。そして、このローラによる挟
持搬送は、スグリ搬送帯による係止搬送のように搬送長
さが決まったものではなく、無制限に搬送作用を与え続
けることができるものであるから、前記のとおり茎先挟
持搬送装置との協働作用と相俟って前記スグリ搬送帯の
長さを必要最小限の短いものに構成しても、長い屑藺草
にも対応した所期の送り出し機能を達成できるものであ
る。
c.また、一対のローラを上下に一定長さを有せしめて
上下に複数個配設してなる係止爪つきのスグリ搬送帯の
終端に設けたので、屑藺草のキャッチング洩れが少な
く、前記ローラの存在によって選別装置の搬送終端部に
おける屑藺草の停滞による滞留・堆積を回避でき、より
一層選別装置での選別が良好に行えるものとなる。その
搬送終端をローラの直下に設けた屑藺草放出用搬送帯
が、垂れ下がっている屑藺草を前記ローラの搬送下手側
に向けて送り込み、ローラによる屑藺草のキャッチング
をさらに良いものとし、両者相俟ってすぐり選別性能の
向上をもたらす。
d.前記スグリ搬送帯やローラの下方位置に屑藺草放出
用搬送帯を設けたので、スグリ搬送帯ですぐり選別さ
れ、下方に落下する屑藺草が、スグリ搬送帯の下方位置
や、ローラ付近に滞留・堆積することを、低い位置にあ
る屑藺草放出用搬送帯の送り出し作用により回避するこ
とができる。したがって、多量の屑藺草が選別装置の下
方に滞留・堆積するなどしてスグリ搬送帯による藺草株
元部の送りを阻害する等によりすぐり性能の低下あるい
は機体の前進走行を阻害するといった問題を未然にさけ
られる。

【発明の効果】上記のように、茎先挟持搬送装置の搬送
力を利用可能にして係止爪付きのスグリ搬送帯と一対の
ローラ及び屑藺草放出用搬送帯を組合せて構成すること
により、スグリ搬送帯の搬送長さに制約されることな
く、充分に長い屑藺草を排出することができる。したが
って、長い屑藺草にも対応する所期の送り出し機能を有
した選別装置を、スグリ搬送帯の搬送長さが短い小型の
もので構成することができる。スグリ搬送帯によってす
ぐり選別され、落下する屑藺草の排出もスムースに行え
て、選別装置の下方に屑藺草が滞留・堆積するなどして
すぐり性能の低下あるいは機体の前進走行を阻害すると
いった問題を回避することができる。本発明により、高
性能・高精度なすぐり選別装置を実現することができ
る。

【実施例】以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明
する。図3及び図4に示すように、駆動回転する左右一
対の分草装置1,1、分草装置1,1からの植立藺草を
導入し乍ら引起す左右一対の引起し装置2,2、引起さ
れた藺草の株元を切断するバリカン型の刈取装置3、刈
取られた藺草の茎先部を挟持して横方向に送る茎先挟持

記刈取ユニットAに対してトラクタからの動力が伝動軸
10を介して伝えられるように、かつ、トラクタに備え
たリフトアーム11の作動によって、連結された刈取ユ
ニットAの対地レベル調節を行えるように構成されてい
る。次に刈取ユニットAに備えた各々の装置等の構造を
説明する。分草装置1は、分草フレーム12の前部に、
その前端をボールジョイント13を介して支持した前下
り姿勢で緩やかに湾曲した杆体1aと、この杆体1aを
紡錘状の軌跡を描いて軸芯X周りで公転させ、且つ、杆
体1aを自転させるよう駆動する機構1bとで成り、未
刈地側の分草装置1の前端位置が他方のものより後方に
位置するよう設けられている。 前記引起し装置2は、

せしめた一対のローラ5Bと、前記スグリ搬送帯5A及
びローラ5Bの下方位置でローラ5Bよりも搬送下手側
にまで搬送作用範囲を設定して設けた係止爪付きの屑藺
草放出用搬送帯5Cとの組合せで構成してあるととも
に、この選別装置5による藺草株元の搬送方向が前記茎
先挟持搬送装置4による藺草茎先側の搬送方向とは交差
する方向へ向かうように搬送方向を設定して配設してあ
る。すなわち、前記スグリ搬送帯5Aと屑藺草放出用搬
送帯5Cとが、縦軸芯を有する前後一対のスプロケット
14,14に亘って巻回した無端回動チェーン15に所
定間隔をもって係止爪16‥を起伏揺動自在に枢着する
ことによって構成され、前記チェーン15を回転駆動す
ることで、前記茎先挟持搬送装置4により挾持搬送され
る刈取藺草の挾持部位より株元側をスグリ搬送帯5Aの
係止爪16により髪櫛の如く梳き取り、短稈である屑藺
草を除去するように構成してあるとともに、スグリ搬送
帯5Aの作用で掻き落とされた屑藺草を、屑藺草放出用
搬送帯5Cの搬送作用により、すぐり選別領域から排除
することができる。そして機体前部側、すなわち係止爪
16の梳き取り方向終端部には、終端側スプロケット1
4の駆動軸17から動力が伝達されて回転する一対のロ
ーラ5B,5Bを設け、このローラ5B,5B夫々によ
り前記屑藺草を機外に挾持放出するよう構成してある。
前記ローラ5Bは、前記駆動軸17と同一軸芯状に上下
複数個設けられた駆動側回転面体18aと、前記駆動側
