して搬出する搬出部(3)と、この搬出部(3)から送
り出された被搬送作物を1個づつ所定姿勢で次工程に送
り出す順送り載置搬送装置(4)とを備えた作物の選別
用搬送装置であって、前記順送り載置搬送装置(4)
を、前記搬出部(3)の搬送方向とほぼ直交する方向に
被搬送作物を載置搬送する第1横送り部(15)、第1
横送り部(15)に連なって前記搬出部(3)の搬送方
向に沿う方向に載置搬送する縦送り部(16)及び縦送
り部(16)に連なって前記搬出部(3)の搬送方向と
ほぼ直交する方向に被搬送作物を載置搬送する第2横送
り部(17)により、平面視コの字形の搬送経路を形成
するよう構成し、前記被搬送作物の幅と略同一幅を有す
る上部側の作物載置面(20a)を、被搬送作物の搬送
方向下手側ほど下方に位置する傾斜姿勢に構成した搬送
体(20)を、被搬送作物の搬送方向に沿って複数並列
配備し、かつ、各搬送体(20)を所定ピッチで上下動
する駆動機構(21)を設けるとともに、隣接する各搬
送体(20)同士が背反的に上下動するよう駆動タイミ
ングを設定して前記第1及び第2横送り部(15),
