2. Description of the Related Art As one of means for facilitating the operation of passing a thread through a sewing needle, a thin and long insertion member has conventionally been used, and a thread is hooked on the tip of the insertion member. Hold the insert in one hand, insert the insert with the thread into the threading hole of the sewing needle in the other hand, and penetrate it from the opposite side until it protrudes to the extent that the thread can be picked up with your fingertips The method was taken.

However, in the conventional means, when the tip of the insertion body is fitted into the threading hole of the sewing needle, the position and orientation of the threading hole and the insertion body must be exactly matched. It is necessary to finely move and adjust the fingers of both hands. For this reason, there is a drawback that the threading cannot be easily performed for a person who has weak visual acuity or a person who is not good at work with fine fingertips.

According to the present invention, as a means for solving the above-mentioned problems, a sewing needle is formed by forming a threading hole in a base by opening a substantially flat surface of a base end portion. An elongated bottomed holding hole dimensioned to be fitted so that the end can be rotated tightly and without changing its longitudinal position is formed, and a base is formed at right angles to the length direction of the holding hole. The insertion body having a thin plate shape elongated in the direction and having a thread catching portion formed at the tip is inserted into a threading hole of a sewing needle inserted into the holding hole, and a retracted position pulled out from the threading hole. Between the leading end of the insert at the retracted position of the base and the threading hole of the sewing needle inserted into the holding hole. At the position, a thread placement portion for arranging the thread in a direction substantially perpendicular to the moving direction of the insertion body is formed.

Operation and effect of the present invention The present invention has the above-mentioned configuration. When performing threading, first, as a preparation, insert the base end of the sewing needle into the holding hole, and arrange the thread in the thread placement section. In this state, the insertion body at the retracted position may be pushed and moved toward the sewing needle.

At this time, the threading hole at the base end of the sewing needle is
In the case where the insertion body faces the opening body facing the approaching insertion body, the insertion body is directly fitted into the threading hole together with the thread. Further, when the threading hole is oriented so as to open obliquely with respect to the moving direction of the plug-in body, the plug-in body is substantially similar to the base end portion oblique to the moving direction. By pressing the flat surface, the sewing needle advances while rotating, and when the direction of the opening of the threading hole coincides with the moving direction of the insertion body, it is fitted into the threading hole together with the thread. The plug-in body fitted in this way proceeds further through the threading hole with the thread and reaches the operating position.

Thereafter, the thread is passed through the threading hole by returning the insertion body from the operating position to the retracted position. Then, the sewing needle may be pulled out of the holding hole while the thread is passed through the threading hole.

The connecting portion 19 projecting from the upper surface of the front end of the pushing body 16 is made of a metal plate having a thickness smaller than the width of the threading hole 4 of the sewing needle 1 and is fitted into the holding hole 11. At the same height as the threading hole 4 of the sewing needle 1 in the direction parallel to the moving direction of the pusher 16, the elongated insertion body 25 is connected to the connection hole 21 of the connection plate 20 at the rear end thereof by the projection of the connection part 19. By being fitted to the fitting 22, it is fitted so as to move back and forth integrally with the pushing body 16 with the plate surface facing up and down. Further, a thread hooking portion 2 recessed in a square shape is provided on the front end edge of the insertion body 25.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described. First,
With the pushing body 16 and the insertion body 25 in the retracted position shown in FIG. 1A, the base end 2 of the sewing needle 1 is inserted into the holding hole 11, and the thread 6 is placed on the thread placement section 14. Thread holder 14
, Lightly press the portions hanging down on both the left and right sides of the base 7 with fingers so that the thread 6 does not loosen. At this time, the opening direction of the threading hole 4 of the sewing needle 1 may be any direction.

Next, when the pushing body 16 is pushed into the base 7 with a finger, the insertion body 25 hooks the thread 6 on the thread catching portion 26 at the front end thereof, and pulls the thread 6 together. The thread enters the thread removing groove 12 and reaches a position where it abuts on the base end 2 of the sewing needle 1.

At this time, when the direction of the opening of the threading hole 4 is oblique to the entering direction of the insertion body 25 as shown in FIG. Presses the substantially flat surface 3 of the sewing needle 1 so that the sewing needle 1
After the state shown in FIG. 3, as shown in FIG. 4, the threading hole 4 rotates in the holding hole 11 until the opening direction of the threading hole 4 matches the approach direction of the insertion body 25.

As a result, the insertion member 25 can be fitted into the threading hole 4 together with the thread 6. Thereafter, the insertion member 25 passes through the threading hole 4 and the through hole 27 together with the thread 6. As shown in FIG.

If the direction of the opening of the threading hole 4 when the insertion body 25 hits the sewing needle 1 is perpendicular to the direction of insertion of the insertion body 25, the insertion body 25 Will push the arc-shaped cross-section of the base end 2, but the thread 6 at the front end of the insert 25 will slide on the arc-shaped cross-section to either the left or right. By shifting, sewing needle 1
The sewing needle 1 is rotated by pressing the substantially flat surface 3 as described above, and fitted into the threading hole 4.

At this time, if the front end of the insertion member 25 does not shift left and right and stays in contact with the arc-shaped portion of the base end portion 2 and does not advance, the pressing member 16 is pushed. May be once released, and then the operation of pressing the pusher 16 may be performed again.
By doing so, it is expected that the sewing needle 1 will rotate due to vibration or the like when the finger is released from the pushing body 16 and the opening direction of the threading hole 4 will change.

In the case where the direction of the opening of the threading hole 4 when the insertion body 25 abuts on the sewing needle 1 matches the approach direction of the insertion body 25 as shown in FIG. , Plug-in 2
5 fits directly into the threading hole 4 without causing the sewing needle 1 to rotate.

After the thread 6 is passed through the threading hole 4 in this manner, the pushing force of the pushing body 16 is released, and the insertion body 25 is pushed together with the pushing body 16 by the urging of the compression coil spring 17 as shown in FIG. It is retracted to the retreat position shown in FIG. At this time, since the yarn 6 is prevented from moving backward by being hooked on the hole edge of the threading hole 4 or the like, as shown in FIG. Will be retained.

Thereafter, when the sewing needle 1 is withdrawn from the holding hole 11, the folded portion of the thread 6 that has passed through the threading hole 4 is pulled back from the through hole 27 into the holding hole 11, and The portions of the yarn 6 that hang down on both the left and right sides of the base 7 are drawn through the yarn removing groove 12 into the holding hole 11, and are both drawn through the holding hole 11 and extracted from the opening at the upper end thereof.

As described above, in the threading operation, when the sewing needle 1 is inserted into the holding hole 11, the base end 2 of the sewing needle 1 fits tightly into the holding hole 11 and abuts against the bottom surface thereof. Thus, the positioning is performed, and the thread 6 is securely inserted into the threading hole 4 by the insertion body 25 regardless of the direction in which the threading hole 4 is opened. Further, since the insertion body 25 moves back and forth while being guided by the base 7, the insertion body 25 surely reaches the threading hole 4. Therefore, the sewing needle 1 and the insert 2
There is no need to finely adjust the position and orientation of 5 with a fingertip, and even a person with weak vision or a person who is not good at fine fingertips can easily and reliably pass the thread 6 through the threading hole 4. .
