[Prior art] Eaves gutters installed at the eaves of buildings such as houses are generally
A predetermined water gradient is given along the eaves, and they are arranged almost horizontally. The eaves gutters are used by connecting a plurality of eaves according to the eaves length of the building, and the connection is made by a short piece rain gutter joint that receives two eaves gutters from both sides and overlaps them.

When connecting rain gutters such as eaves gutters with rain gutter joints, it is necessary to have a water stopping action so that rain water does not leak outside from this connection part. It has already been proposed that the rain gutter joint is elastically joined to the rain gutter by providing a ridge or the like, and this is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-125327.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Rain gutters such as eaves gutters are made of synthetic resin, metal plate, and the like. These gutters are generally outdoors, and thus are relatively large due to temperature changes due to weather conditions, sunshine, and the like. Temperature changes occur repeatedly, and thermal expansion and contraction are repeated each time. For this reason, in the connection part of a rain gutter, it is necessary for a rain gutter joint to receive a rain gutter movably in the longitudinal direction of the gutter so as to allow thermal expansion and contraction in the longitudinal direction of the gutter. However, this is in contradiction with obtaining a water stopping action for preventing leakage of rainwater to the outside, and in the conventional case, if the certainty of the water stopping action is increased, the rain gutter is heated. At the time of expansion and contraction, it becomes difficult for the rain gutter joint to move in the longitudinal direction, and there is a possibility that expansion and contraction due to thermal expansion and thermal contraction of the rain gutter may not be performed properly. If this thermal expansion and contraction is not performed properly, ridges will be formed on the rain gutter, and particularly in the case of an eaves gutter, the linearity of the gutter will be impaired, and meandering will occur, causing a deterioration in the appearance of the building.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional gutter joint, and has as its object to provide an improved gutter joint that can absorb both the thermal expansion and contraction operation of the gutter and the water stoppage.

[Means for Solving the Problems] According to the present invention, as described above, a gutter joint having a gutter connection portion at both ends in the longitudinal direction and a gutter ear locking portion at the upper end of both sides is provided. The gutter joint is characterized in that at least one inner surface of the gutter connection portion is provided with a highly slippery hard synthetic resin layer having fine irregularities on the surface.

[Action] In the rain gutter joint of the present invention, a high-sliding hard synthetic resin layer having fine irregularities on the surface is provided on the inner surface of the gutter connection part to which the eaves gutter is connected. Since the contact area of the eaves gutter in contact with the surface of the eaves gutter is reduced and the lubrication is highly slippery, the frictional resistance acting on the contact surface due to the thermal expansion and contraction of the eaves gutter is reduced. In addition, since the surface is not smooth but has fine irregularities, in the connection state of the eaves gutter, a small meandering maze-like gap is formed between the outer surface of the eaves gutter and the highly slippery hard synthetic resin layer. .

FIG. 3 is a plan view showing a use state of the gutter joint of FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a longitudinal sectional view schematically showing an enlarged main part of FIG. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 10 denotes a rain gutter joint made of a thin metal plate, and semicircular eaves gutters A and B from both ends in the longitudinal direction.
And has the same cross-sectional shape as those that are slightly larger than the eaves gutters A and B, and has a semicircular cross-section gutter-like portion 12 as a main part thereof, and curved ears provided at the upper ends of both side portions thereof. Locking portions 14 and 14.

On the inner surface of the gutter connection portion at one end in the longitudinal direction of the rain gutter joint 10, a highly slippery hard resin sheet 16 is stuck by an appropriate adhesive. The sheet 16 is made of a polyamide resin or other hard synthetic resin, and has fine unevenness and a high lubricity layer 18 on its surface by forming or processing fine unevenness. The length of the sheet 16 is about 1/2 to 2/3 of the total length of the gutter joint 10 in the longitudinal direction.

As shown in FIG. 3, the fine unevenness high lubricity layer 18 made of a hard synthetic resin is slidable with the eaves gutter A inserted inside the rain gutter joint 10 on the surface of the fine unevenness. It is designed to join.

Therefore, the eaves gutter A comes into contact with the rain gutter joint 10 only at the projections on the surface of the fine irregularities of the fine unevenness / high lubricity layer 18 made of a hard synthetic resin, and thereby the eaves gutter A has a small contact area. With this arrangement, it is possible to smoothly move the rain gutter joint 10 in the longitudinal direction, that is, in the left-right direction in the figure without receiving a large frictional resistance. Thereby, the thermal expansion and contraction of the eaves gutter A can be smoothly performed without being hindered by the rain gutter joint 10.

When rainwater is drained through eaves gutters A and B during rainfall,
A state in which rainwater enters into a maze-like minute gap existing between the fine uneven surface of the hard synthetic resin sheet 16 on the rain gutter joint 10 side and the outer surface of the eaves gutter A, and the minute gap is filled with rainwater. Becomes The rainwater layer has a thin-film shape, and thus has a surface tension. Further, since the rainwater layer has a maze shape, a so-called labyrinth sealing effect is produced. Therefore, the surface tension and the labyrinth sealing effect produce a water stopping effect, and prevent rainwater or the like from leaking outside from the connection between the eaves gutter A and the gutter joint 10.

When the gutter joint 10 is made of a metal plate,
This makes it possible to reduce the wall thickness as compared to the case where it is made of a synthetic resin, whereby the step between the rain gutter and the rain gutter joint is reduced and this becomes inconspicuous,
In addition, the workability of the shape of the rain gutter joint including the curved ear locking portion of the rain gutter joint is improved, and high dimensional accuracy can be obtained.

Incidentally, the other eaves gutter B may be rigidly bonded to the rain gutter joint 10 with an adhesive, and each eaves gutter is a free end which is not fixed only on one side thereof for thermal expansion / contraction operation. What should be done.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, in the rain gutter joint of the present invention, the high lubricity hard synthetic resin layer having fine irregularities on the surface is provided on the inner surface of the gutter connection part to which the eaves gutter is connected. However, the contact area of the eaves gutter in contact with the surface of the hard synthetic resin layer is reduced, and because of the high lubricity, the frictional resistance acting on the contact surface due to thermal expansion and contraction of the eaves gutter is reduced, The thermal expansion and contraction of the rain gutter is performed smoothly without resistance.

In addition, in the connection state of the eaves gutter, a small, meandering maze-like gap is formed between the outer surface of the eaves gutter and the highly slippery hard synthetic resin layer, and the rainwater layer that has penetrated into the minute gap is a thin film. Because of the surface tension and the maze-like shape, a so-called labyrinth sealing effect is produced, which provides a water stopping effect, and rainwater flowing through the rain gutter leaks out from the connection part of the rain gutter. Is prevented, thereby absorbing both the thermal expansion and contraction operation of the rain gutter and stopping the water, so that the required water stopping effect is obtained, and the rain gutter generates ridges and the like. Is reliably avoided.
