の厚みを呈して被測定面から溶接部近辺の目盛面が浮上
って正確な測長に妨げとなったり、またコーナー部片も
含めた均一な熱処理をなし得ないので無理に抑え付ける
使用が度重なって溶接部での曲がりや破損また平面度の
狂いなどを生じる原因ともなっていたのである。
