It is possible to effectively use the inside of the vehicle by installing the main body of the in-vehicle radio in the trunk room and separating only the operation part and installing it in the vehicle interior. In such a separated type device, a cable is connected between the main body and the operation section, and a connector is used for connection with the main body so that the main body can be attached and detached during maintenance and inspection.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a conventional separation type device, and illustrates an on-vehicle transceiver. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a device body, which is fixed in a luggage compartment by a bracket 2. Reference numeral 3 denotes an operation section separated from the main body 1, which is installed in a vehicle compartment (for example, an instrumental panel section). The operation unit 3 includes a channel selection knob 31, a volume control knob 32, a display 33, a speaker 34, and a microphone 35. On the other hand, the device body 1 accommodates circuits such as a power supply circuit, a wireless transmission / reception unit, and a modulation / demodulation unit.

The cover 4 has a flat end surface that separates the operation unit 3 from the main body 1.
The connector 5 is fitted in the opening 41 provided in a part thereof to connect the cable 6. The cable 6 connects the main body 1 and the operation unit 3.

In the structure of FIG. 2, since the cover 4 is flat, the connector 5 projects. For this reason, there is a drawback that the connector 5 is damaged by the luggage stored in the trunk room, or raindrops travel through the connector 5 and enter the main body 1 when the trunk is opened during rainfall.

The present invention relates to a separation type device in which a device main body and an operation unit are separated and connected to each other with a cable with a connector, and a connector for protecting the cable connection connector from the outside is provided on an upper portion of a connector coupling portion of the main body. In addition to providing a cover having a protrusion having no connector, the connector-attached cable is laid along the protrusion in a direction intersecting the protrusion direction of the protrusion.

The protrusion formed on the cover prevents external force from being directly applied to the cable in the vicinity of the connector, and also prevents raindrops or the like from being applied to the connector. Therefore, even if the main body is housed in the trunk room, the connector is not damaged,
It also prevents raindrops from entering the body.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an embodiment of the present invention, and shows an example of a separate type vehicle-mounted transceiver as in FIG. In the figure, 1 is a device main body, 2 is a bracket, 3 is an operating part, 4 is a cover, 5 is a connector, 6 is a cable, and is the same as FIG. 2 except for the cover 4 and the connector 5.

The cover 4 of this example has a protruding portion 42 that is like an eaves above the center.
The connector 5 is connected to the main body 1 at a portion below the protruding portion 42 of the cover 4, and the cable 6 crosses the protruding direction of the protruding portion along the protruding portion 42 as shown in FIG. Crawl in the direction of doing. The protruding length of the protruding portion 42 is longer than the protruding length of the connector 5, so that the connector 5 is hidden under the protruding portion 42 in plan view. In this example, the connector 5 is of a horizontal type so that the protrusion length of the protrusion 42 may be short, but a standard type may be used as shown in FIG.

When the connector 5 and the cable in the vicinity thereof are located below the protrusion 42, even if the luggage in the luggage compartment moves, the protrusion 42
Therefore, the connector 5 and the cable in the vicinity thereof are protected from external force. Further, since the falling raindrops hit the projecting portion 42, the amount of rain which travels through the connector 5 and enters the main body 1 is significantly reduced.

When the bracket 2 is attached to the bottom of the luggage compartment, the protrusion 42 need only be on the upper side, but considering other usages, it is better to form the protrusion 42 up and down and to provide the connector 5 coupling portion between them. The effect is great. Since the cover 4 may be made of a resin material, the protrusion 42 can be easily formed by vacuum forming or the like, which does not lead to an increase in the number of parts or an increase in cost.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the cover for protecting the connector for connecting to the operation unit is provided on the main body of the separation-type device, when the main body is housed in, for example, the trunk room of the vehicle, the internal luggage is not used. There is an advantage that the connector can be damaged or raindrops can be prevented from traveling through the connector and entering the main body. Also, since the cable near the connector was laid along the protruding part of the cover in a direction intersecting with the protruding direction of the protruding part, the cable is protected from the outside by the crawling distance, and it protrudes from the protruding part. When an external force is applied to the existing cable, there is an effect that the external force on the connecting portion between the connector and the cable is reduced.
