基部に打撃部が形成されている。打撃部の構造は鑿一般
に見られるような木製柄にリング状のカツラを装着した
り、或いはナイフ(特に電工ナイフ)に見られるような
厚金を装着しているが、本案は特に厚金を打撃部として
装着する手持工具に関するもので、従来の厚金製打撃部
の装着は、工具本体の基部に厚金を熔接したり、ネジ止
めで止着する等して、工具本体と一体化している。しか
し前記の止着手段のうち熔接で行うものは、例えば厚金
の厚さと同一厚さになるように木製柄を形成しようとす
ると、本体と厚金の段落個所に熔接を施すことができ
ず、その熔接個所は厚金の外周面部分に限定されてしま
う。而も前記熔接個所には仕上げ研削,研磨作業が必要
となり、その仕上げ程度の如何によって熔接個所の強度
が低下する虞があり、前記仕上げ作業が非常に煩わしい

時強い打撃を受ける個所であるので、強度的に問題があ
