せ、エンジンの騒音が大きくなるという問題点がある。

合される引掛け部をその内面側に設けて、前記爪と引掛
け部とを前記シリンダカバーで覆うとともに、前記シリ
ンダカバーに前記マフラカバーの端面の内面が嵌合する
リブを設け、前記マフラカバーの上部嵌合部をシリンダ
カバーに嵌合したとき、マフラカバーの下部の締付面と
クランクケースの締付面との間に所定の間隙が形成され
てなることを特徴とする。

り、従来のもののように締付ネジの数を多くする等の対
応が不必要となり締付スクリューも少なくなってコスト
低減も可能となる。また、マフラカバーとシリンダカバ
ーとの係合部がシリンダカバーで覆われているので、エ
ンジンカバー取付部を外観上凹凸の少ないスマートな形
状とすることができる。
