リヤバンパーサイドの前縁を前記アーチ部の延長上に延
設して、該リヤバンパーサイドの前端部上縁を前記切欠
部の上縁フランジに締結固定し、そして、前記切欠部の
前縁フランジに、前記取付部とリヤバンパーサイドとの
間の間隙の前側開口部を閉塞するクロージングプレート
を装着した構造において、前記クロージングプレート
を、前記切欠部の前縁フランジに結合されるフランジを
有し、前縁部が該切欠部に臨むリヤバンパーサイド前端
部の裏面に密接して該裏面を被覆する下部カバーと、該
下部カバーの上側に連設され、切欠部の上縁フランジと
リヤバンパーサイド上縁との合わせ部を包囲するポケッ
ト部を備えて、周縁が前記切欠部上側でホイールハウス
アウタ面に密接する上部カバーとで構成し、該クロージ
ングプレートにより前記切欠部周縁とリヤバンパーサイ
ド前端部裏面とを全体的に被覆したことを特徴とするリ
ヤバンパーサイドとリヤフェンダの接続部構造。
