なるようにフアンの回転速度(冷却能力)を決めている
ため、最大構成になつていない構成でもフアンの回転速

変化するフアン7の一方の端子は、直流電圧VAに接続さ
れ、その他方の端子は抵抗8を介してグランドに接続さ
れ、さらに抵抗値0Ωを含む抵抗9を介してオプシヨン
部5への電源供給用コネクタ6′に接続されている。温
度上昇制限の厳しい例えばハードデイスク等や消費電力
の大きいオプシヨン部5の電源供給用コネクタ6′には
同図に示すようにグランド端子が設けられ、このオプシ
ヨン部5が接続されない場合はフアン7には抵抗8によ
り分割された電圧が印加されるので、フアン7は遅い回
転速度となり、該オプシヨン部5が接続された場合、フ
アン7には抵抗8と抵抗9との並列抵抗により分割され
た電圧が印加され、このオプシヨン部5を冷却するのに

スの有無により、冷却用フアンに印加される電圧を変
え、フアンの回転速度を変化させることにより、電子装
置の内部構成に対応した冷却とすることができる。この
ため該オプシヨンのない構成においてはフアンの騒音を
下げることができるという極めて優れた効果が得られ
