Claims (17)
- 下記の工程を含む、メタン含有ガスからCO2を除去する方法:
(a)不純物として少なくともCO2を含むメタン含有ガス(103)を提供すること;
(b)前記メタン含有ガス(103)を冷却して、前記工程(a)の前記メタン含有ガス(103)からCO2を凍結により除去すること;
(c)圧力温度スイング吸着装置(PTSA)(111)を用いて、工程(b)からの前記メタン含有ガス(103)のCO2濃度を更に減少させて、メタン富化生成ガス(117)を得ること;
(d)工程(c)からの前記生成ガス(117)の少なくとも一部(127)を、PTSA(111)処理のために前記PTSA(111)を通過する処理ガス(129)として使い、それによって、CO2を、処理ガス(129)により吸着させ、かつCO2富化処理ガス(133)として前記PTSA(111)から除去すること;及び
(e)前記PTSA(111)を通過した前記CO2富化処理ガス(133)を再循環させ、そして工程(a)の前記メタン含有ガス(103)と混合すること。 - 工程(d)の前に、前記生成ガス(117)を、完全に又は少なくとも部分的に冷却により液化して、液化生成ガス(125)を得ることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも部分的な液化を達成するため、前記生成ガス(117)を、-140℃~-100℃、好ましくは-130℃~-110℃、特に好ましくは-125℃~-115℃に冷却することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記液化生成ガス(125)を、減圧、好ましくは約1barまで減圧して、フラッシュガス(127)及び減圧された液化生成ガス(126)を得ること、ここで、前記フラッシュガス(127)は、処理ガス(129)として前記PTSA(111)に通すことを特徴とする、請求項2又は3に記載の方法。
- 工程(b)において、前記メタン含有ガス(103)のCO2濃度を、6000ppm未満に減少させることを特徴とする、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)において、前記生成ガス(117)のCO2濃度を、5200ppm未満、好ましくは830ppm未満、より好ましくは215ppm未満、特に好ましくは100ppm未満、更に特に好ましくは50ppm未満に減少させることを特徴とする、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程(d)において減圧されかつ任意に加熱された処理ガス(131)として前記PTSA(111)を通過させる前に、前記処理ガス(129)は、減圧されかつ好ましくは加熱されることを特徴とする、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程(d)において前記PTSA(111)を通過させた後であって、工程(e)において再循環され、及び前記メタン含有ガス(103)と混合される前に、減圧され、かつ任意に加熱された前記処理ガス(131)を、前記メタン含有ガス(103)の圧力に圧縮されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 工程(d)において前記PTSA(111)に供給される前に、工程(c)からの前記生成ガス(117)の少なくとも一部、及び前記処理ガス(129)の少なくとも一部を、それぞれ、前記供給されたメタン含有ガス(103)の冷却に用いること、好ましくは、前記生成ガス(117)及び前記処理ガス(129)のそれぞれと、前記メタン含有ガス(103)とを、熱交換機(115)に通すこと、好ましくは向流で熱交換機(115)に通すことによって、前記供給されたメタン含有ガス(103)の冷却に用いることを特徴とする、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記生成ガス(117)及び前記メタン含有ガス(103)を、熱交換機(115)に通すこと、好ましくは向流で熱交換機(115)に通すことによって、工程(c)からの前記生成ガス(117)の少なくとも一部を、前記供給されたメタン含有ガス(103)の冷却のため用いること、並びに
前記熱交換器(115)から出る前記加熱された生成ガス(117)の少なくとも一部を、減圧し、そして前記PTSA(111)の再生のための処理ガス(131)として用いることを特徴とする、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。 - 工程(c)からの前記生成ガス(117)の少なくとも一部を、前記PTSA(111)の再生の後に前記PTSA(111)を冷却のために用いることを特徴とする、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記メタン含有ガス(103)を、5~25bar、好ましくは10~20bar、特に好ましくは14~17barの圧力で前記PTSA(111)に供給することを特徴とする、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記メタン含有ガス(103)を、-130℃~-80℃、好ましくは-120℃~-100℃、特に好ましくは-116℃~-110℃の温度で、前記PTSA(111)に供給することを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記生成ガス(117)及び前記液化生成ガス(125)のそれぞれを、前記処理ガスへの転換の前に、好ましくは約1barに、それぞれ減圧されることを特徴とする、請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)における前記メタン含有ガス(103)のCO2濃度が、60%以下、好ましくは6%以下、特に好ましくは2.5%以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記減圧された液化生成ガス(126)を、微粒子のフィルター(138)、好ましくは細孔サイズが10μm未満の微粒子フィルターであって、減圧された前記液化ガス(126)から固体を除去する微粒子フィルターに通すことを特徴とする、請求項4~15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ガス導入導管(101)、圧縮ユニット(135)、少なくとも1つのCO2を凍結させるための冷却ユニット(105)、PTSA(111)、メタン富化生成ガス(117)の輸送のための導管、並びに前記PTSA(111)及び前記ガス導入導管(101)をつなぐ処理ガス導管(134)を備える、請求項1~16のいずれか一項に記載のメタン含有ガスからCO2を除去する方法を実施するための装置。
